I have short, curly hair. have used a brush curling iron for years, and my favorite was a 3/4 in barrel, conair, which they do not carry anymore. the reason I liked this one so much, was the bristles were longer than the average iron any more, so it held the hair againt the barrel, even in the back. I have trouble now when I use the others ones that I have, the hair seems to fall off the barrel in the back, or it just doesn't do the job.
