The tapered barrel allows you make either tight or looser curls, depending on where you wrap your hair. These irons are designed with Hot Tools Pulse Auto Heat Control which senses heat loss and regenerates heat instantly. Hot Tools signature gold barrel gives even heat distribution and frizz free styling.
With tapered irons, the trick is to hold the barrel still and wrap your hair around the barrel. The type of curl you achieve wil depend on where you wrap your hair. Hair wrapped around the smaller end of the barrel will result in a tight curl. Hair wrapped around the wider end will result in a looser curl. Clipless means curls will have no creases.
