Not Worth It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have to agree with the other reviews. My sister-in-law who is a hair stylist bought these rollers for me for Christmas. I just tried them and my thumb and pointer finger a both burned and sore. The rollers would not stay in my hair. Everyone fell out. Now I have to tell her that I dont like the rollers and hopefully she can get her money back. Bad ProductThe curlers never got hot enough to even put a dent in my hair. However, the ends of the curlers got hot enough to burn me. The clips didnt hold the curler in and they kept falling out of my hair.posted Sep 1, 2008Link to this post

OuchME AND MY HAIR:Fine, dense, 2a-3a stubborn waves and curls, color treated and below bra strap. I love and use hot rollers multiple times a week, it’s my favorite glam and ultra easy style.VERDICT:RETURNED. Save your $50. There is nothing these rollers do better than my $20 Conair jumbo rollers (the Conair set even has features I like better). I used the Hot Tools set twice and am sending them back. They BURN my fingertips so that hours later, they’re still tingling and the clips that come with the package are cheap and flimsy...plan on buying high quality ones if you keep these hot rollers. In fact, one of the clips arrived broken.DESCRIPTION:A set of 12, flocked velvet jumbo rollers in a somewhat dated pearlized purple and gray color scheme, bulky unit that comes with flimsy butterfly clips and a storage bag to keep them in. The instructions say to allow for 10+ minutes to heat up, the clear plastic lid completely detaches (I prefer a lid with a hinge). The rollers themselves are 1.5 inches in diameter with a small grip top that is only good for picking the roller out of the unit. The unit has 4 feet which serve as a place to wrap the cord for storage.PERFORMANCE:As I said, save your money. Supposedly the tourmaline is supposed to make your hair smoother and fight frizz, but honestly, every set of hot rollers I’ve tried leaves me with smooth, voluminous hair, so I’m inclined to say that the tourmaline is a pure marketing tool.Burning fingertips aside (see “verdictâ€), you don’t need to wait 10 minutes for these babies to heat up...5 is enough, and there is no indicator to tell you when the rollers are ready. Curl is average, again, nothing that a cheapy set from Target won’t do for you. Very DisappointedVery disappointed in this set. Impossible to roll hair without burning fingers on the plastic edges. Clips do not hold hair well. In order to get even a bit of curl or bend that would last, the rollers would need to stay in at least 1/2 an hour - even if I had the time, the rollers simply wont hold the hair more than about 5 minutes.posted Apr 20, 2008Link to this post
