Tish M.HairDark BrownColor Treated HairThick or Coarse HairGreat Results...I discovered this set of hot rollers a while ago and have used it ever since. My hair is extremely straight and very difficult to curl, but this product does the trick. The rollers are not only gentle on the hair, but effective. I would stongly suggest giving them a try.posted Jan 27, 2012Link to this post

ElayneCanadaHairBlondeNormal HairRoller Core Doesn't Hold HeatThe rollers are a pretty good mix of sizes. While the parts that you have to hold onto get very hot, the core itself doesn't. My hair doesn't hold a curl well, except with pounds of hairspray. Even with the required pounds, the curls didn't even hold until I got to my car! I wait until they're completely cooled but it doesn't work. I also use clips, will never try and use the tiny metal pins. They help hold in the heat, but sadly lovely curls that last through one hot flash.posted Oct 13, 2011Link to this post

Cheryl C.USDoesn't Set Hair--don't BuyThis expensive hot roller doesn't give a curl because it doesn't get hot enough or stay hot enough. The minute I take out the rollers I can just watch the curls start to flop, by the time I'm done brushing through my hair it is flat and lifeless. Horrible product, I am going back to my old roller and trying to contact Helen of Troy to get my money back--All $64.00 !!!!!!posted Apr 18, 2011Link to this post

Bernice F.HairGreyFine or Thin HairHair Setter Is Great For Fine HairThe wax core is just what I needed. It is easy to use and does not burn my fingers. It takes longer to heat than I like but it is kind to my hair and gives me a good set. I can use it every day without burning my fine hair. this is great for women who have thinning hair.posted Jan 26, 2011Link to this post

YesimHairMedium HairGood Quality But Not Right For My HairIt turns out that I need larger rollers. My hair is medium height and silky. I looked like a lamb after I was done with these. However there is nothing wrong with the quality of the set.posted Mar 29, 2010Link to this post

RachelleBirmingham, ALAwesome CurlsI've tried just about every hot roller on the market, going back to those horrid Clairol spiky plastic ones in the 70s. These are the best I've found. They heat evenly, are easy to use without burning yourself, and give us defined, lasting curls. I say "us" because after years of bugging my long-haired husband I got him to let me start setting his hair. I do his hair almost every day on the Hot Tools rollers and he loves it. I can do his hair in about 15 mins. and when I take it down I put it back in a headband and it looks absolutely darling. No more boring guy ponytail! Yahoo!posted Sep 14, 2009Link to this post
