You Get What You Pay For
After deciding I wanted a new look, I bought these as my first set of hot rollers to try to achieve a wavy look. I've been using them every day for about two weeks. These rollers aren't particularly bad, but they are a cheaper set, and you get what you pay for. The design of the rollers makes it difficult to roll your hair and keep the rollers in place--they are all plastic, and very slippery. The biggest problem is the metal pins. They're very impractical and cumbersome. Even if you're just planning on using your hot rollers once a week, it would be worth it to spend an extra $5-$10 for a set of rollers that come with clips to keep the rollers in place. The positives are that they get hot enough to curl your hair without burning your fingers, and there are good amount/size of rollers. The bottom line is, if you plan on using your hot rollers for more than just special occasions (or don't want the process of rolling your hair to be difficult), spring for a better set. This one isn't worth the inconveniences.
