DeeTexasDont Buy This ProductYou will be stuck with a steamer that is not replaceable unless you buy the entire package over and over again.. They will not sell the steamer alone.. You have to buy the entire package curlers and all whenever the steamer goes out.. What a scam.. Just like replacing a steam iron every year(the steamer stops working). cant replace the steamer have to replace the whole iron>.in this case you have to buy the steamer and the curlers all over again. and i hate that ..posted Mar 1, 2009Link to this post

Tina ColemanClear Lake, MinnesotaShort Life SpanI have been using the Caruso curlers for about 10 years. I love how my hair looks and feels. They are the only curlers that work for me since I have very straight, fine and thining hair. The only problem is that they stop working after only 6 months to a year. I have bought so many units that the last time the set broke my husband threw up his hands and said "No More!!" We are on a fixed income and the expense of constently replacing my curlers was getting to be too much. Now Im miserable with my hair and spend way too much time trying to use a curling iron so I dont look like something the cat brought in. My hair now looks fried, dry and is brittle. Wish I had my Caruso back.posted Feb 11, 2009Link to this post

JulieMost Complainers Didn't Read The BookletI dont mean to be cruel, but many of the complaints hear could be solved by reading the booklet that comes with the product completely. My hair is midway down my back and thick and I dont have the problem of which many people are complaining. If you have thick and / or long hair, you have to work very small sections and you cant simply roll up from the bottom, or you will have curls at the bottom of you hair only. The booklet describes "wrapping" techniques and what I have found to work best for my longish, thickish, wavy hair, a combination of wrapping and rolling. This is my second Caruso, not because my first died, but because it was lost in a move. I am useless with a curling iron, blow dryer or other rollers, but get fantastic results with these. If you are not happy with the results you get, try a different technique! They are a very flexible tool.posted Jan 18, 2009Link to this post

Smhyla@gmail.comHermosa Beach, CAQuick And Easy WavesI love Caruso! This is the best curling system that I have ever tried. Steam curling is much safer and kinder than a curling iron on my thin hair. I only need to leave the rollers in for a few minutes while I put on my make up, no more discomfort by sleeping in velcro rollers! I wish that they would sell the travel size with ionic steam. I love that all 5 sizes come with it, but I only want the large size. The 6 rollers is not enough. Id love to trade someone with my unused petite and small rollers...posted Dec 16, 2008Link to this post

StephanieNeed More Men In CurlsIm a 27 yr old male nurse with long straight hair below my shoulders. One of my co workers was staying over at my house about 6 months ago and she ended up setting my hair with her caruso steam curlers, I had the most beautiful and softest curls that lasted the entire night while we were out. I usually used a large curling iron or rolled my hair after a shower and let my hair dry on its own which meant wearing curlers for 2 or 3 hours. My birthday was 1 month ago and Gina bought me a set of the caruso 30 steam curlers. I never go anywhere with out my hair curled. My mother and sister love my new look and all my curls. I have done mothers hair a few times with my caruso set and she loves her curls also. Curls look so good on men or women with long hair. Come on men get some curls and enjoy the compliments .posted Nov 2, 2008Link to this post

ReneeDanbury, CTQuality Of ProductI have two Caruso Curler Machines... I think I have had them for more than 8 years. My hair is very fine and thin. It cant handle a lot of stress... This machine is the only thing that can curl my hair. If you twist your hair and then roll them on the small rollers it makes spiral curls otherwise use the larger rollers for bounce and body. It takes less than 10 minutes to do my whole head and the curls last until I wash my hair again. Its an excellent investment.posted Oct 19, 2008Link to this post

SherryMinneapolis, MNSo Disappointed That It Stopped WorkingI only rate this as poor because the unit quit working after only a few months. I am so disappointed and dont know whether I will buy this kind again or not. My old "use salt" unit is still going after 20 years. Guess Ill go back to that. When this one worked, I loved it.posted Aug 19, 2008Link to this post

Winston's MomSan Diego, CAHairShort HairGreat When It WorksIve had three of this product in the last 2 years. When they work, they are fantastic.....when my hair is short or long.....but thanks to reviewer Kat, my husband took this last one apart (just before I threw it out!) and scraped it off, and Whoo Hoo!!!!!! it works again like when it was new.Thank you, thank you, thank you. Im ordering a new unit to have in reserve (without rollers since I have three sets of them now!!) but it looks like this is going to work.I only have to leave them in my hair (short again now) for about 10 minutes and I have curls for days and hair that is shiny, soft and healthy.posted Jul 29, 2008Link to this post

MemeBest Rollers I Have Ever UsedUsed one set for years now I am on the second. The rollers basically wasted away after a several years of use by me and my Mom. Hair was always shiney and undamaged. I tried to use regular hot rollers and will go back to using the caruso. I have very long thick course hair. The Caruso makes my hair look like a hair commercial. The smell eminating from the steamer, the previous person complained about, is probably just the minerals in the water.I never noticed a foul odor with mine.posted Jul 3, 2008Link to this post
