Amazing VolumeRecieved these rollars as promised .I have been a hot roll girl for many years .This was my first set of ceramic so i had great expectations.They never disappointed me in there preformance.They heat up much faster than my old set . I love the fact that there are 12 rollars in teh set .The on off front switch was extremly handy .I also loved that they came with bot clips and pins . Great For Adding Volume To Your HairI bought this set and the Babyliss Pro 30 rollers set as well. This set is much quicker in heating up and I love them as they are all jumbo rollers that can give volume to my hair. Instead of doing curls with the 30 rollers set, this is a quick and easy for every day use.
The only thing I would say is that the rollers are a lot heavier and hotter than the Pro 30 roller set which is hollow (ceramic) meaning so much lighter on the head.posted Jan 3, 2011Link to this post -

Body And Big Bouncy Curls!I have waist length super thick hair, and I love using these when I want bouncy waves. If you're looking for spirally curls this is not the product as the rollers are all jumbo, if that's the case I'd opt for the babyliss rollers that have the different sizes. Great Curlers!These curlers work great! The extra clips that come with it work perfectly over the metal clips that also come with them. I find that I need to really let the curlers heat for a long time to achieve a great curl and for them to last but it does the job. It says instant heat which is true although for thick hair like mine it needs to be really hot. I will heat them for about 20-25 mins before using, so beware of a time issue when using. Does Not Meet ExpectationsI was so excited to get this product but I have to say that it did not live up to my expectations. I have long normal hair and was expecting this to give me some curl and volume. However, this does nothing for long hair.. the bottom of my hair curled a bit but that was about it. It doesn't get hot enough to curl the entire long strand. BaByliss generally has very good products but this one is the odd ball. I have since gotten the Babyliss PRO Ceramic and Ionic Hair Setter (30 rollers) and that one works amazingly! And The Search Continues...I thought these would help curl my hair without damaging it and help my hair hold curl longer. When I took the curlers out after a half hour, there was a subtle curl. When I tried to soften the look and finger comb them, they disappeared. My hair never curled with these curlers. I will keep looking for something better I guess.posted Jun 14, 2010Link to this post

Decent Rollers Just Not The Set For MeI ordered these because they got good reviews and Babyliss is supposed to make great tools. They are fairly nice and perfect diameter for about 3" past the shoulders- I really liked that they came with both horseshoe and butterfly clips, and the quality is pretty good. For my very thick, naturally curly hair, they are not hot enough and are too light weight. The core of these is open, not solid, and I think thick hair needs the weight for heat transfer all the way through. Sadly my Conair Big Curls from Walmart work better, so I am sending these back and getting a second set of those. You really need two sets of 12 for thick hair!posted Apr 2, 2010Link to this post -

Goodbye Carusso! I Love This Set!Hi,I have ultra thick, long hair(a bit past my bra clasp) and this set really gives me the curls I want. I got tired of fighting with my carusso steam setter(taking it apart to scrape and clean)and purchased this. I am glad I did. It doesnt take long to heat up at all and I like the option of using the pins or clamps to secure them. They feel very sturdy and well worth the price. I dont see how this product could have any negative reviews(unless they just purchased a lime)as my set works perfectly. I have gone through many sets of hot rollers in the past and now Ive finally found a set worth keeping. I highly recommend this set. :-)posted May 29, 2009Link to this post
