Lisa D.Des Moines, IAHairBlondeNormal HairDry HairColor Treated HairWasn't Sure How To Rate ThisI bought my set several years and they have worked great. My hair is medium thickness and the different size rollers would let me achieve any look I'd want. However a few weeks ago the rollers seemed to be getting hotter. I wasn't sure if it was my imagination but started using the low heat setting. Unfortunately one day I put it on the high setting by mistake. I left it for 15 minutes to heat up. During that time the curlers melted to the metal prongs and can no longer be used. If I'd forgotten to turn them off it could have been a real mess. Has anyone else had this issue?posted Sep 30, 2010Link to this post

EmmaUSABe Careful!I had purchased the Babyliss PRO Ceramic and Ionic Hair Setter after watching a couple of tutorials on youtube using them. The results in the video looked great so I went ahead and bought it as well as extra clips. Since my hair is naturally frizzy/curly, I have to blowdry it before I curl it whether I'm using an iron or setters. Unfortunately, I wasn't too pleased with this set. The rollers were plastic, and hollow in the center, not what I had expected. Also, there are too many large/jumbo rollers. I have very long hair and the medium and small rollers are just big enough to get a decent curl, I have never even used the Jumbo and large ones cause they're too big. Overall, I regret this purchase cause it wasn't really cheap and did not give me the results I wanted. I just ordered the Hot Tools Nano Ceramic Wax Core 20 piece setter from this website and hopefully that'll be better. I guess this setter works if you have long, straight hair, and if you want a bigger loose curl/wave.posted Jun 25, 2010Link to this post

BelleLakeland, FL:)Beautiful CurlsThese curlers were so easy to use! My hair is super long and thick, so I was afraid that it would be too much hair for these curlers, but I actually had 6 curlers left when I was done setting my hair, and after only 10 minutes of sitting around the house, my hair looked like it had just been to an expensive salon! I can't wait to try styling it in different ways with the curls, because it looks really amazing just simply down. I did buy an extra set of curler clips since the set doesn't come with enough (conair pro clips for $9.99 on this site). I would also recommend letting your hair dry naturally and then using the curlers. The hair is more likely to keep the curl if it hasn't been straightened/blow dried prior to curling. :)posted Jun 14, 2010Link to this post

LisaHairThick or Coarse HairThe Best I've Ever Used.Babyliss Pro Ceramic Hair Setters are the best available on the market! I have tried so many diffrent brands from expensive to cheap. A hair dresser used the babyliss curlers on me at a local salon. It cost me 25 dollars. So the price for these curlers are well worth evey penny. The curls lasted all day and I was very pleased! I have thick but yet fine hair. Which is suppost to be hard for curls to stay. This product is quick and easy to use. You will have long lasting beautiful curls all day! It does only come with 15 clips, but who cares. It works so good ....... I wouldn't care if it didn't come with any, posted Apr 26, 2010Link to this post

CherineNYGood Product And Worth It's PriceIn my opinion this item is worth the cost, the end result if you are patient and give it enough practice is beautiful full curls that have held in my hair all day without hairspary (although hairspary I would reccomend). I have long curly hair naturally and it works wondefully for me. Although this item is pretty bulky it is easy to store under the sink when finished or on a shelf and is light weight so it is easy to move around. I found that there is more than enough curlers in the unit and more than enough of a variety to style your hair as desired but if you have long or thick hair and think you may use alot of curlers to style your hair then pick up some extra inexpensive hair clips online or at a nearby store because I tend to run out of the clips that they send with the unit close to the end of my styling considering I use alot for the length of my hair. All in all I like the curlers and am happy that I bought it, if you are still unsure whether you want to buy it or not you may want to check out you-tube which I found helpful because there are a few videos that show you the tricks of how to use it easily and show you what you will be buying. I hope you find this helpful.posted Mar 8, 2010Link to this post

MeganIf You Have Thin Or Straight Hair - Stay Away!!!!I bought this product and tried to use it a few times. The rollers will NOT stay in my hair, and my hair is not that thin. It was a complete waste of money and time. If you have thin hair try and get rollers that will have something to adhere your hair to them, such as velcro or anything!! My ends would never stay in, and once I managed to get one curler in, it would come out with my ends all messed up looking. Please, don't buy this product if you have thin or straight hair, it was such a waste. If you have thicker, coarse hair, this may be a better fit for you. If you can get your hair to wrap around the rollers properly and stay.posted Mar 5, 2010Link to this post

LindaThis Is A Great Set Of Curlers!I am very happy with this set, and with the results that I get. I have 2 comments --- 1, make sure that you do give the curlers enough time to heat up; and 2, try to get a few extra clips if you can find them. The set comes with 15 clips, and I actually need 16 for my hair. Luckily, I have a bunch of the same clips so I am OK. But this is a really nice set with excellent variety of sizes included.posted Mar 2, 2010Link to this post

JanWartburg, TN USAMaybe For Different Hair TypeI was really excited to get these curlers but when I pulled the unit out of the box it was REALLY big & my first concern was where in the world I was going to put it on my counter. Although the curlers got hot quickly and was not uncomfortable to touch, I had trouble keeping them in my hair, (fine, thick hair) without re-rolling the strands and after a good 15 minutes all I came out with was a so-so curl which could be brushed out without much effort. I returned the item but it may be perfect for someone else with a different hair typeposted Feb 23, 2010Link to this post
