DeeHairDark BrownNormal HairLove It!The best choice I ever made buying on Folica is this hair setter!! I love it! It saves me time and is amazing. The only thing I regret is that I didn't buy it earlier! I am very picky when it comes to hair tools..but this one won me over immediately. My mom even loves it. It saves my hair from being fried and damaged and gives you the option of having it on a low or high setting.posted Jul 13, 2011Link to this post

KathrynHairWhiteThick or Coarse HairCurlers For Ornery HairSo I haven't used curlers for a couple of decades, due to very short hair, but now I am growing it out and the blower and brush are getting tiring since my hair is thick. So I bought these curlers. There are a lot of them and they do get hot quickly, but not uncomfortably so, and true, there are not enough clips, but I bought extra.
However I had forgotten how ornery my hair is when longer and so these curlers are not doing the trick, yet. They are just not having much of an impact as far as getting my hair that wants to go this way to go that way. Then I remembered that when last I used hot curlers they were steam hot curlers, which is probably what my hair needs.
So if you have hair with a mind of its own you might need more than just heat. I am hoping that with increasing length and weight these curlers might work.posted Apr 18, 2011Link to this post -
TiffanyCoHairBlackThick or Coarse HairGorgeous LookI really love this product.. I have thick long hair and always wanting to do something different and these curlers give me so many looks ..The volume and the shine my hair has when i take them off is great..The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because i wish the package would of came with more clips. Theres 30 curlers and only 15 clips so thats my only negative. But anyways great product for my hair.posted Mar 30, 2011Link to this post

NicoleHairMedium BrownNormal HairMostly A Disappointment!Well it started off a little rough when a few of clips were broken when I took my new curlers out of the box. And after I let them heat up forever, and left them in my hair for another extended period of time, the best I got was flipped out ends. Very disappointing.
Maybe there's something to be said about the old metal curlers?posted Mar 29, 2011Link to this post -
SherriKyAnother Boy With CurlsI have been using a curling iron on my 9 yr old sons long hair for about 3 days a week and he has so much hair and it takes me forever to get his hair all curled. I did his hair with my baybliss pro ceramic and he loved all the curls and bounce he got and it was so much faster putting him in curlers while i finished my makup, he enjoyed not having to sit still as long since i didn't use the curling iron. he did complain about how heavy his head felt with all the curlers in his hair but i told him thats the price he has to pay to look pretty. His curls stayed in longer and were softer curls which we both really liked. He could wait for the little girl next door to see his curls and i ended up doing her hair also . It just so much easier to get him the curls he wants using the baybliss curlers over the curling iron and i don't have to worry about him moving and being burnt by the curling iron. Wish i would have tried these curlers on him 2 yrs ago when i first started curling his hair. These curlers are great and I would recomend them for and one male or female who wants soft beautiful curls .posted Mar 10, 2011Link to this post

DonnaNew JerseyHairDark BrownFine or Thin HairJury Is Still OutI have been using this set for about a week now...I have thin, fine hair, which I normally wash at night and let air dry through the night. I have been using the InStyler for months to straighten, but wanted a new curler set to change the look. My hair is long layered (about bra strap length) and naturally wavy (it is especially wavy because I let it air dry). I have used the smallest curler as well as the largest. My hair does not hold the curl for more than a couple of hours...It starts out Taylor Swift and it loosens up into a "1980's Bonjovi wave." I just ordered a hairspray that you can use with hot styling tools and hopefully that will work...until then, the jury is still out.posted Jan 12, 2011Link to this post

ParisHairLight BrownDry HairColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairGreat In Every Way Except Only 15 Clips For 30 Rollers. What's Up With That? There are many good things about this hair setter. It stands vertically as well as sits horizontally on your work surface. When it is vertical, it takes up less space and the rollers are easier to see and to grab. It heats up quickly. There are more than enough rollers for a full head's use -- something you rarely find. The teeth in the roller hold the hair well without damaging it. The roller itself delivers just the right amount of heat to set the hair without frying it. The roller sizes are color-coordinated, so it's easy to choose the size you want. I have used this for several months now and am very pleased with its performance.
My only complaint is that they did not provide enough clips to hold the rollers in the hair. There are 30 rollers but only 12 clips. The description said 15, but I didn't get even that many, which is still not enough. Twelve or 15 clips are far less than the number you need to set your entire head. How annoying is that? I had to purchase additional clips, which is no fun when you've already spent big bucks on the set. So, I rated it an "It's ok" instead of a higher rating, which is an average of "This didn't deliver" ¢ as in an adequate number of clips -- and "Love this!", which would have been my rating if they had given 30 clips for 30 rollers.posted Oct 26, 2010Link to this post -
Stacy T.HairDark BrownFine or Thin Hair5 Minutes RollersI love these rollers. It's hollow in the middle therefore it's very light weight. It doesn't tangle up your hair either. I throw away my old velcro hot rollers as soon as I got these.
pro: light weight, easy to use
cons: does not have an indicator light to tell you when it's ready (hot enough) or have an automatic turn off if not use within certain time frame.posted Oct 25, 2010Link to this post -
Kelly L.HairBlackThick or Coarse HairAbsolutely Must HaveI've used so many hair setters and curling irons in the past. My hair is naturally curl resistant because it's so thick, not to mention..LONG and STRAIGHT. I bought this one because it had 30 rollers rather than 20. I used it today and LOVED it!!! My hair has stayed put all day so far. However, anytime you use a hair setter, you'll have to re-sculpture your curls to your desire. If you can't do that, than no hair setter or iron curler will do that for you. I absolutely recommend this! PS... Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play harder (Volumizing) works great with this product!posted Oct 22, 2010Link to this post
