YinetHairMedium BrownCurly HairFine or Thin HairWhat A Waste Of MoneyIt did not keep humidity out as promised. Overtime it grew mildew all around the edge. I washed it with bleach and it was not enough to take the mildew out. It also smelled horribly. I always took a lot of care to leave it inside out and hanging where it could dry but that didn't help. I cannot believe I spent that much money of a shower cap. I am going back to the cheap stuff asap. I rather use a terry cloth head wrap towel and put the cheap plastic cap on top if i worry about humidity. Don't waste your money on this one.posted Dec 21, 2012Link to this post

Shannon T.SeattleHairBlackDry HairCurly HairI've Gone Back To Cheap PlasticThis shower cap made me appreciate the little plastic processing caps you get in bulk at Sally or wherever. It was barely big enough to cover my curly hair, and the lining gets damp so my hair gets wet around the edges. Also, mildew. Never had a problem with my shower cap smelling of mildew before this one. All in all, a bad purchase. I've stopped using it and gone back to plastic.posted Dec 17, 2012Link to this post

RachelNew York, NYHairBlondeNormal HairDry HairCurly HairColor Treated HairRelaxed HairChemically Treated HairEh, They Should Lose The Terry LiningI had high hopes that this would be the shower cap that would really keep my blown-out hair dry, but unfortunately it didn't. I like how snug it was, and that would have probably been enough, but they put the terry cloth lining in, and that seems to be what screws up the design. The problem is, if you get ANY water near the edge of the cap (like when you're washing your face in the shower), the terry cloth wicks the water right into your cap! So I get 3 inches of wet hair all around the edges. Which is worse then if I use a cheap plastic treatment cap. So, no, this was not a great investment for me.posted Dec 9, 2012Link to this post

SandyTxHairBlondeFine or Thin HairStay Dry Capthis cap does what it says..keeps all your hair dry..it could be a little larger so those with really thick long hair probably couldn't get their hair in it but my shoulder length thin hair fit great.posted Jun 29, 2012Link to this post

HelenHairMedium BrownCurly HairColor Treated HairBest Shower Cap On The MarketThis shower cap is the best on the market and worth every cent! It is large enough to cover long hair piled on top of the head and keeps everything perfectly dry. In addition, the terry cloth lining protects against humidity. Luciana S.PennsylvaniaHairDark BrownNormal HairCurly HairColor Treated HairChemically Treated HairExpensive, But It'll Hold For A Loooong Time!I agree it's expensive for a shower cap, but it's light, comfortable, your hair won't get wet or frizzy and your head won't sweat!!! Also, I feel that it's very strong and it's gonna hold for a long time!!!!posted May 23, 2012Link to this post

HeatherSt. LouisHairAuburnDry HairColor Treated HairChemically Treated HairWorth The Extra CostI was initially skeptical about paying so much for a shower cap, but my hair was recently severely damaged by an overprocessed perm and I've had it smooth with a keratin treatment that I want to make last as long as possible, so I try to go as long as I can without washing it and keeping it dry in the shower goes al long way to keeping it smooth, so I decided to give the Blow Perfect Shower Cap a try. As other reviewers have said, you may still have some moisture around the edges - but logic says that is happening because you are pushing it back to wash your face. I find that absolutely no hair that I did not expose or leave uncovered gets wet and no humidity seems to reach my hair under the cap so I would recommend it, in spite of the added cost.posted May 7, 2012Link to this post
