T3 Overnight Travel Dryer

LolaskyZero...zero...little Stars...I bought my first one a year ago and took it to a trip to Florida, it burned on the first use at the hotel. Ok, I thought it could have been the Hotel electric current system, so I bought another one yesterday. It burned too. Yes, the same loud noise and burnt smell that all the other reviewers claim. Truth ! Buy a different one...posted Jun 4, 2010Link to this post

JenniferColumbia, SCAwesome - Until It Broke After 7 MonthsLoved this dryer for my fine, straight hair and used it every day for 7 months, even though it's considered a travel dryer. Then the fan broke suddenly while it was in use (which is startling - loud noise and smoke smell), and it died. I would give it 5 stars while it worked, though. :) While working, it gave excellent results, with silky, shiny hair and quick drying time. One previous reviewer had a theory that some of us were traveling overseas and then back to the US and forgetting to change the electrical settings; that wasn't the case in this situation. This was actually my second one of this same dryer. The first one died after about 6 months of use (and there was no overseas travel with that one, either). I loved it so much, though, that I decided to try another one.posted Oct 12, 2009Link to this post

OliviaBrooklyn, NYWorked Awesome Then It Broke!I had this dryer for 7 months, and it worked great, I even wrote a glowing review. But yesterday, I turned it on it made a loud snapping sound and the fan just broke! Awful, that a hair dryer that worked great on my hair is so cheaply made. I would not recommend buying this now unless you want to risk having to spend money again in less than a year for a new dryer.posted Jun 2, 2009Link to this post

JenEdmonton, ABThis Was Great When It WorkedI used this dryer about 8 months and just broke on me yesterday and I only wash my hair about every three days! The fan broke off and there is a burning smell. When it worked it left my fine hair smooth and bouncy but now I am looking for a new dryer and dont want to take a change buying another one in the event this happens again.posted Mar 28, 2009Link to this post

MaggieWorst Product EverIts really too bad that there is not a NO STAR option! When I first used the dryer the results were not even notable, my hair felt dry and frizzy from using it. I was dissappointed, but I was flat out mad when 3 months later I picked it up and heard the fan fall out of the back and into the middle of the dryer. It then began to have a burning smell. Dont waste your money, my $17 conair dryer is much better...posted Dec 27, 2008Link to this post

OliviaBrooklyn, NYWorks Just As Expected!I bought this dryer about a month ago. I did write a review after I had used it for a little over a week and before I left for my travels to Europe. It worked great. I just got back from Europe and it worked great there too. I have had absolutely no problems with it at all, here or abroad. My hair feels great and it dries fast. Definitely great for defrizzing (and thats without any de-frizzing products). Im guessing that a majority of the issues and problems people are having with their hair dryer burning out is simply not realizing or forgetting that you need to switch the voltage on the dryer from 110 over to 220V when traveling to places outside of North America. If your dryer is set to 110V and you plug it into the outlet in Europe it will probably spark when you put it in and when you turn it on it will just totally fry your dryer.posted Dec 1, 2008Link to this post

OliviaBrooklyn, NYMine Works GreatSeeing all the negative reviews here made me a bit skeptical to purchase this but because the bio-ionic travel dryer was out of stock I decided to buy this one knowing that I had a 30 day money back guarantee. Well Ive had it for 3 weeks now and so far so great! It cuts my drying time down to 6-7 minutes and I have long medium thick hair. I dont think it completely eliminates frizz - I dont know anything out there that ever will 100% eliminate frizz, especially when its raining outside and humid, but it does make my hair noticeably smoother and i dont have flyaways. So far, Ive only used the dryer here in the states but I am going to Europe in a couple of days for 2 weeks so Ill see if I have any of the issues that some other people have had here.posted Nov 15, 2008Link to this post

CWhat The Hell?I took it out of the box, plugged it in, turned it on...puff of smoke...and it shuts down. This is the worst hairdryer ever..and even worse I paid $174 + tax for it.posted Sep 15, 2008Link to this post

Jenn BCustomer Service Rocks!!!Where I would have agree that the travel dryer did not hold up as long as one would think a 130 dollar dryer would, when I contacted customer service after using the dryer for a year I was pleasantly surprised when I did not have to mail the broken one in and because they were so sorry about my experience they upgraded my dryer to the featherweight and sent me some products. I loved the dryer, I just wanted the travel version to last a bit longer. But really the customer service was quick to e-mail me back and dedicated to doing the right thing. I would buy another dryer from them just because of this situation. I wonder if others tried e-mailing customer service as this was the route I used.posted Jun 12, 2008Link to this post

Lee BethancourtParadise Valley, AZDon't You Dare!Add me to the list of frustrated T3 customers. I love the larger dryer, but the travel dryer lasted 1 trip. It broke in non-abused carry-on luggage! Too fragile for me. My loss.posted May 19, 2008Link to this post
