T3 Featherweight Hair Dryer

AngelaCAHairChemically Treated HairThe Best Dryer Ever!!!Ok. So Ive had my t3 for about 2 yrs now. Maybe a little longer. Not sure about the ladies that had theirs break on them.. mine has given me NO problems what so ever! Its just a luck of the draw I suppose? Anyway, I too have thick hair with coarse texture, and the first time I met this little silver beauty was when I went to get my hair done at the salon and I noticed that my hair was soft, shiny, and smooth as she was drying my hair. I asked her what product she used and she said NOTHING. So I asked her, why is my hair so shiny.... her response was oh thats the dryer girl. I was LIKE WHAT? What kind of hair dryer does that? Needless to say, I was online that very same night looking to make my purchase! I have not been without my dryer ever since. I ABSOLUTELTY LOVE IT! I even sold my BFs mom on the dryer. She has really thick and curly hair too. And she LOVES it just as much as I do! I actually bought a sedu flat iron from folica before the dryer.. I should have gotten the dryer first. Cause after my dryer, I dont need to use my sedu, as I dont really need it. I did however find that if you pair the dryer with a really good shampoo and conditioner, the results are that much better! For those of you with thick, dry, coarse, or curly hair, try using Alterna Caviar line. It is an AWESOME combo for our hard to tame dry hair!! =)posted Nov 20, 2007Link to this post

RebeccaT3 - Quality Control Issue!Fan fell off after using for 1 month (2xs a week)! One would think for selling a product at such an expensive price they would have a much better quality control process... Ive had a much more in-expensive store bought hairdryer for over 10 years. Ridiculous.posted Nov 10, 2007Link to this post

Ginny HoganGreat Hair DryerI investigated hair dryers and found the T3 dryer had great reviews. The hairdryer arrived and it is all I had hoped for. It tames my frizzies, dries fast, and it is lightweight!Hurrah!posted Nov 4, 2007Link to this post

Bhavna De MontebelloNew York, NYGreat Dryer For Some- Just Not For My Thin HairSo I bought the T3 Featherweight after having read all the stellar and not so stellar reviews. My conclusion: its basically a great hair dryer. Just not perfect for my hair. In other words, if I had thick, coarse and/or nappy textured hair Im sure Id be in hairdryer heaven. But I dont. I have relatively thin (some would say medium) thickness black slightly wavy shoulder length hair, to which Im always trying to give more body to. With this goal of greater body in mind, the T3 fell short in my eyes. The reason? By the end of the day my newly blowdryed hair fell flat even though I used volumizing curlers and spray when I blowdryed my hair. I think its the anti-frizz effect of the blowdryer that was the cause of it. Also, in addition to my hair feeling flat, it did have a slightly greasy quality- probably because of the excess moisture that is infused into the hair with the tourmaline ceramic ionic technology. It did leave my hair lustrous and shiny and soft (which is fabulous) but I was not happy with the thinning effect it left on my hair. Other blowdryers (less fancy ones than this) seem to give my hair greater body- so I will continue to shop for my ideal blow dryer. But I must say- I loved how light it felt in my hand, how it didnt have a deafening sound (which is great) and how soft, lustrous and shiny it left my hair. And it did shorten drying time by about a good 10 minutes, which is significant in my book. And I wasnt bothered at all by the switches.posted Nov 1, 2007Link to this post

SusanTXCutting CornersRead several articles that this was the best of the best and all the rage. So I decided to spend more $$ for a blow dryer only to find that I love the fact the dryer is light weight but hate the fact they cut corners on the cord and did not use a tangle free cord. Really for for the price, you would think they would use a tangle free cord.posted Oct 31, 2007Link to this post

M.w.Chicago, ILHairCurly HairLong HairCuts Down On Drying Time Plus More!Me and my 2 daughters have long, thick, overly curly hair (African mixed with Asian). My old cheap drugstore blow dryer would leave our hair frizzy and straw-like, and on my daughters mid-back length natural hair, drying and smoothing would take several hours! After reading the reviews on several models, I chose the T3. Drying time on my daughters hair now takes 45 minutes--and that includes both drying and smoothing. The T3 dries and straightens our hair so well that we dont even need to use the flat iron afterwards. Instead of dull, lifeless fried frizzles, we now have silky soft, shiny and lustrous hair from root to ends. After parting off sections and applying a dab of Rusk Str8 balm, I use the low setting for drying and smoothing, using a large round ceramic vent brush. I love my T3!posted Oct 29, 2007Link to this post

SPoor QualityI purchased this product only two months ago and the fan just broke off . The product is exceptionally poor in quality, although I did like the way it dries my hair. I have had a $40, and an $8 dryer for over 7 years with no problem I will be returning this product and not repurchasing.posted Oct 1, 2007Link to this post

TeresaMaumee OhioAwesome HairdryerI have owned a CHI and T3, and this hairdryer tops them all. My hair looks extremely healthy, and stands up to humid weather better than ever before. The dry time is amazing. Definitely recommend.posted Sep 28, 2007Link to this post

AnonymousGood But BadI love this dryer. It dries my hair really fast, leaves it shiny, frizz-free and healthy looking... BUT... the first one I bought Broke, I turned it on and it started to smell like something was burning... So, I bought a new one (since i lost me receipt from sephora and they did not want to replace it). So the new one worked well... FOR 2 MONTHS!!! Until it started not to blow air but make a sound. I dont know what happened, when i turn it on, it sounds on but no air was coming out!!! So, here I go again, trying to replace it and Sephora told me to contact T3. I did, and they sent me a bunch of forms to fill out and tons of requirements, and they want me to mail the dryer to them so they can diagnose the "problem" with a check so that they can mail it back to me... Bottomline is, it is such a hassle!!! This works really well but what ever happened to QUALITY!?!?!?posted Sep 28, 2007Link to this post

StacyNy, NyLove Iti read a lot of reviews... this is a great hairdryer. i have always bought cheaper ones, for $40. but decided to splurge after my last one died. and i notice the difference with this one. it takes half the time for my hair to dry, even when soaking wet. and it dries with a nice shine, soft, and less frizzy. it dries my hair like my hairdresser does. it doesnt get too hot or seem to burn my hair. it also is very light weight. the cool button is easy to use. ive only had it a month, but no problems at all. worth every penny.posted Sep 25, 2007Link to this post
