LindseyLiked The Dryer...but Doesnt LastI have had this dryer for 2 years. I have really like it, but it stopped working today. Keeps shorting out. Seeing the reviews...it looks like lots of people say the same thing! Works well for a year or 2 then it dies. Ridiculous to pay this much for a hair dryer for something that lasts 2 years. I had a vidal sassoon dryer I used hard for 10 years and then it broke after I dropped it really hard!posted Jun 26, 2009Link to this post

FedoraCALovely But Does Not Last.I have had two of these dryers. I kept the filter clean and yet it just stopped with the heat and only cold air.....yet does not dry the hair. The second one was wonderful for several months and then the power would go from high to low..very low...then would just stop. A few days later I tried it again ......it got hot then the power went to very slow and low. Today it was slow and just stopped dead! I always keep the filter clean . Too bad I really liked this dryer. And yes it was genuine model.posted Mar 8, 2009Link to this post

MissyMinneapolis, MNGreat At First, But Burns Out FastI splurged on the T3 Tourmaline Dryer, and it worked great for a while. However, it runs really, really hot, and because of that it can scald your hair if youre not careful. After a year or so, it started to have an electrical burning smell, and had only have the air power it used to. Im afraid to use it now, because it is clearly broken.posted Jan 30, 2009Link to this post

MelanieSwitches Turn Off Mid-hair Dry!I have very fine hair and it only takes about 10-15 minutes for me to blow dry my hair completely. Even so, midstream, this EXPENSIVE blow dryer would QUIT ON ME! And then it wouldnt turn back on until it cooled down for about 10-15 minutes. So I returned it for a new one, thinking it was a fluke... and it happened again - AND THEN AGAIN!! It got to point where I didnt trust it and would travel with TWO blow dryers. Needless to say, after three T3 blow dryers in a 9 month span, I gave up and went with a Babyliss. Not as good of a dryer, but at least it works!posted Nov 26, 2008Link to this post

Michele A.Atlanta, GACheap PartsI paid $150 for this dryer and it broke in about 8 months. I had also invested in the diffuzer, so I had almost $200 invested. When it stopped blowing air forcefully, my husband took it apart and showed me how flimsy the parts and motor were. This dryer isnt worth $30.posted Nov 7, 2008Link to this post

NicoleBay Area, CAJust Got It And I Love ItWhile I cannot vouch for how long this dryer lasts I got one about a week ago. And Ive used it twice and it works amazingly well! My hair has been awesome. However, just getting this dryer does not mean you will have awesome hair. This is an expensive high tech tool for someone who knows what they are doing. The things I also purchased with this dryer was B&B prep, B&B styling lotion, a ceramic iconic brush with giant holes. I also know how to blow dry my hair, like the motion your wrist has to make to use the brush correcty, and how to put the spray in, how to section my hair to dry it, using the cold shot, etc...So in conclusion, if you are looking for a good blow dryer (not a miracle to compensate for lack of skill and knowledge) then this is a dryer for you.posted Sep 20, 2008Link to this post
