FolicallychallengedNew YorkHairLight BrownFine or Thin HairHave MyI don't own this particular model, but I bought my hair dryer from this manufacturer from the Sharper Image when the product first came out somewhere betwen 1998-2000 and I still have it and its going strong! This brand lasts and lasts. I actually want to upgrade to the newer model as it has more ions and is supposed to dry quicker than the original model but I can't bare to get rid of a perfecty good dryer! I actually wish it would finally burn out!!! So to anyone wondering whether this is a good brand, I'd say owning any dryer this long is a testament to the quality of the design. Go for it!!!posted Jul 27, 2011Link to this post

MjSan Francisco, CAHairDark BrownNormal HairNice And Quiet DryerIt dries my hair quick without sucking all my hair moisture out like my cheap blow dryer.
It leaves my hair silky shiny looking, which I like.
It's also very quiet compared to the cheap one from walgreens.
I'm pretty satisfied.
I do have to say that it's not too featherweight...
I guess I'm just not used to holding a blow dryer.posted Apr 27, 2011Link to this post -
Connie C.Cleveland, OhioHairAuburnNormal HairColor Treated HairFantastic Hairdryer!I have to tell you that I never knew this kind of dryer existed. The motor is so quiet compared to any other dryer I have ever used. My hair feels so much smoother and healthier using this dryer compared to my others in the past. The cord is longer than most and it has a hook so that I can hang it up when I'm done. And with the warranty, there's no way I could go wrong. Well worth the money. I love it!posted Apr 18, 2011Link to this post

SusanPhoenix, AZCame Highly Recommended But Didn't Last 3 MonthsMy hairdresser highly recommended the T 3 series and I received a brand new T 3 featherweight hairdryer #73808 as a gift. I thought it was perfect and easy to use. After less than 90 days, it just stopped working. No warning, no reason, just stopped. These dryers sell for over $100.00----you'd figure it would last for a few years. Very disappointed. Do not purchase.posted Apr 9, 2011Link to this post

LaurenNYHairCurly HairDidnt Do The JobThis hair dryer is meant for getting blowouts.
The nozel that comes with this dryer wont stay attached. As I was drying my hair the nozel kept spinning in every direction making it really difficult to blow out my hair.
I had to keep turning it back and burning my hands.
For a dryer this expensive they should make the attachments fit.

KelliKentuckyHairPlatinum BlondeCurly HairColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairBest Hair Dryer I Have Ever UsedI absolutely LOVE this hair dryer!! I have always wanted to purchase a T3 but knew it was too expensive, but with the sale that Folica had I knew it was time to buy one. It is super light weight, easy to handle and cute of course. It dries my hair in 5 minutes tops and makes it smooth and shiny. It is NOT loud at all. It doesn't have a lot of power to it, but it doesn't need too. It dries my hair faster than any hair dryer I have owned ever has. I would recommend this to anyone and when you purchase this, you will be very pleased!posted Jan 4, 2011Link to this post

Hilary H.Don't Buy This On Folica.com!I work in the beauty industry and have had a REAL T3 Featherweight for some time and love it. So, I ordered one on folica.com for a present for my mom, and was very disappointed to find out that it was a KNOCK OFF! The FAKE T3 I received was heavier, had different text, a slightly different pattern, lacked the Tourmaline guarantee symbol, AND the box was not sealed. DO NOT buy the T3 Featherweight from this website, when you compare it to the real thing it looks completely different, which is probably why is has only lasted some customers 9 months. Order one from your hairdresser, that's probably the safest way to go.posted Dec 29, 2010Link to this post

Jehanna O.Do Not Purchase!I bought this hairdryer from folica approximately 9 months ago and it quit working, it did work wonderfully for the 9 months however. I have heard this same complaint from several people and bought it anyway thinking it wouldn't happen to me. I wish I would have read into the reviews and listened. I am very upset that I paid all the $$$$$ for a hairdryer that would quit in less than a year. I am now going to try a babybliss product. Also this product doesnt come with the tag that is supposed to be attached on the cord, so I dunno if this product was refurbished or what...That also voids the warranty since it came with no metal attachment tag.posted Dec 1, 2010Link to this post

Stephanie B.FloridaHairDark BrownNormal HairCurly HairThis Is A Best Friend For Your Hair!I don't own one yet, but my older sister who has been a hair stylist for 2 years uses this blow dryer on her customers and herself. I even use it whenever the chance I get and I love it! The T3 really does work great! I have normal curly wavy hair and it dries and straightens my hair within 5 minutes on each parted section of my hair. I have always had long hair so it works perfectly. I used to take up to an hour with the other blow dryer I used and my arms and shoulders couldn't take the pain anymore. This doesn't ware down my arms as the other one did. My sister loves it and it hasn't had any problems. We always get compliments on how pretty and shiny our hair look. Just remember to apply some sine or straightening balm into your partially wet hair before styling to give it that perfect hair salon shiny and healthy look. I definitely recommend this to everyone. Say goodbye to pain and hello to gorgeous!posted Nov 29, 2010Link to this post

DebbieNJHairBlondeNormal HairColor Treated HairComparable To Chi Rocket But Better WarrantyAfter several years of using my Chi Rocket, I dropped it and it broke. It was a great dryer and I didn't have any defect problems like other people have said. That said, I decided to try something new just to see if anything has changed in the past couple years. I think that the T3 feels and functions the same and produces the same results. It might be a tad better at preventing frizz and my hair might have a tad bit less body with the T3, but I can barely tell - it could be b/c I need a haircut! Anyway, it's a great hair dryer and if you're debating bn the Rocket and this, it doesn't really matter except T3 has a longer warranty. My only complaint is that the attachment is really lose and moves all around - very annoying. I'm contacting Folica to see if it's supposed to do that. Oh, I have long, wavy hair that tends to frizz and takes forever to dry. This dryer and my Chi make it look great in about 12 minutets.posted Nov 10, 2010Link to this post
