Mini-hurricane With StyleI was concerned that this hair dryer would be too heavy or too hot as others posted, but it is actually lighter than the Conair hair dryer that I owned. That was not an issue. I also find the highest heat setting too be perfect. It's just right. I don't feel that it will dry out my hair. I have thick and wavy hair and this hair dryer cut down the drying time in half and my hair comes out straighter with little effort. It does have amazing power on the highest fan setting. I put it down and it blew my hairbrushes right off the bureau. It's amazingly strong, but not overbearing. You can still style your hair just fine. The attachments help to direct the fan to one area for quick drying time. I would recommend this hair dryer to anyone and I won't go back to my drug store cheap hair dryer. 1 2 3 Presto It's Dry!Wow talk about a quick dry. My hair is middle of my back and since it's relaxed as I got older (use to be spiral curls!) I've started straightening it. Preso, this thing is like jump'n jack flash and you're done. My hair is silky, shiny and feels amazing after drying. WowI have long, thin, somewhat straight red hair with some waves here and there and a weird curly patch at the nape of my neck. My hair is really dry and has some breakage and tons of fly aways from coloring it so much. I can get it fairly straight with a really hot dryer but still have to use a straightener for the neck and front.
So ... I used this dryer and not only have super shiny straight healthy looking hair with almost zero flyaways, but I don't even need an iron at all. Not even for the neck. I can't believe my eyes. In the reviews some people claimed it gave volume. While it didn't necessarily GIVE me volume ... hmm ... how do I explain? Well, the only time my hair has looked this smooth and shiny is when it hasn't been washed in a couple days and the natural oils calm it down or it's been flat ironed .... which makes it look flat and thin. So for it to be this shiny and NOT be weighed down ... well ... it makes it seem volumized! It's also very light and bouncy. I've never seen it like this before without product or teasing. Actually, no, I've never seen it like this before period. As someone else had said ... "I can't believe I wasted all those years and money on products" ... I understand what they're saying.
I just hope this continues to deliver. Whenever I am wowed by something it eventually quits working for one reason or another. But for now I am ecstatic. Completely worth every penny I reluctantly forked over :)))))posted Dec 29, 2011Link to this post -

Worth The MoneyI read most of the reviews on this product before purchasing., and most of them were dead on. The upgrade from a drug store brand to a professional is worth time money if you have difficult hair. I have med to long, wavy hair. I do not have to use my straightening iron afterwards now. My hair has less frizz, and more shine after drying. My dry time was not cut in half, but is shorter. The only negative is the weight of the dryer, it is heavier than my last. Great DryerI've only had this dryer for a week, but I love it already. It dries my hair so quickly and really does cut down on the frizz. My only slight complaint is that the dryer is a little heavy (it's a tad top heavy), but after using it a few times you get used to it. Nice Dryer, But...This dryer does a nice job. Smooth, shiny, straight hair. However, the big question for me is always is it worth the price. Since I purchased this a half price I decided to give it a try. Had I paid full price I would definitely say it is not worth it. My comparison would be my Conair ceramic tourmaline that I paid $39.00 for and I would have to say there is not much difference between the two. I get shinier hair with the sedu but that is the main difference. With my conair I can easily turn the tip of the dryer to direct the air flow where I want it. The sedu tip is virtually impossible to turn, stiff and too hot to use force to turn it. It drys quickly, but about the same as the conair. So I have to say even at half price not a great value since you can get a comparable dryer for much less.posted Dec 26, 2011Link to this post

My First Venture Into High End Hair Equipment Paid OffI recently purchased this hair dryer in pink and so far, I really like it. I have to give Folica a lot of credit because I got it for a steal and the delivery was very fast. I normally use the lower heat setting with the higher power speed. I'm not too sure what the ionic setting actually does but I will say this hair dryer is very powerful but does not get overly hot. I also find the small size better for styling when I use my round brush to shape my layers because it's lighter and smaller. The cold shot is also very powerful and effective.
