Fire Hazard!I have never reviewed a product before, but I feel that this one is so hazardous I had to do it. I bought this dryer in January 2008 and was very happy with it until October 2009. While drying my hair as usual it started making this funny noise and when I went to turn it off I found that it was melting from the inside out! I returned it to Folica and they quickly sent me another. Then just last month the exact same thing happened! I have shoulder length straight hair and I just blow it dry using my hands. No tools, no special brushes, no cremes ect. It takes about 7 minutes for me to get it dry and out the door. I would have certainly expected this, or any dryer to be able to handle that without any difficulties. PLEASE be careful!!!posted Apr 5, 2010Link to this post -

Very Pleased - Quality DryerI have been looking for a quality travel dryer with a diffuser attachment. This little dryer fits the bill perfectly. For its size it is very powerful. I do have thin curly hair, and it dried it in no time. No frizz no problems. This dryer would also be perfect for someone with arthritis who can't lift a heavy dryer. It's light but solid. Great Little Dryer!This dryer is great. It's a perfect size for travel and actually works perfectly on a daily basis for my hair. It's so much nicer to use than a huge bulky dryer if you have short hair. I am very happy with this Metropolis T-ion Mini Dryer! The Perfect Travel Hair Dryer!This is the first time I have ever written a review for a product, but I feel compelled to share this "little bit" of good news with anyone looking for a travel hair dryer. The T-ion is very powerful for such a light-weight tool, and it comes with a diffuser!! I frequently dry my hair with a diffuser, but most of them are too large to travel with.
