AmberHairDark BrownRelaxed HairShort-livedWorked fine for just under two years. Didn't cover the whole head, but it got the job done. Then one day, it just turned off. I tried different plugs in the house, but it wasn't the plug. The dryer just stopped working. The dryer I had before this one (another brand) lasted for more than five years. Disappointed with the product. Won't be getting another one.posted Sep 26, 2010Link to this post

NatashaWorks For MeI use it to dry my curly hair and it has worked well for me for almost 2 years. In about 10 minutes I am mostly dry -- it takes my hair 3 or 4 hours to air dry and a difffuser on a blow dryer takes way too long. I like that there is a low air setting and a high heat setting since too much air flow frizzes curly hair but the higher heat helps it dry fast. My only complaint is that my long hair hangs out the bottom and doesn't get dry unless I clip it up under the hood. So perhaps if the hood could be longer in the back?posted Jun 17, 2010Link to this post

LorettaGreat For The Money And Mobility Is WonderfulI love my Hair Dryer. I went Natural six months back and have been using this dyer ever since. I use it at least three times a week. I only had to purchase another one after I moved and the MOVERS broke the stand. It is easy to store and the height is great for an average height chair. Good product I'd recommend it to all with Natural or Relaxed hair. Keep in mind my hair is thick (course) and short, about 4inches. The drying time is not long about 20-30 minutes.posted Apr 14, 2010Link to this post

CameronPlastic And Metal Don't MixThe heat output was actually fine for what I need it for although the bowl is a bit shallow and the jets don't cover your whole head. My biggest gripe is the design where the plastic hood meets the metal pole. The bonnet or hood is head and the pole is skinny and flimsy- needless to say the plastic cracked enclosure under the weight of the hood after 3 uses.posted Dec 23, 2009Link to this post

Sylvia L LeeTimmonsville, SC Florence CountyStanding Hair DryerI received my new dryer a week ago. Even after reading poor review I took a chance because all I needed was a little heat when I gave myself deep heating treatments.. My husband and I worked for 45 mins just trying to cut it on. Tried every plug in area hoping it was a bad receptacle. Finally gave up! Its pretty bad when it doesn't even start from the beginning. Please Don't Buy unless you want a standing conversation piece!!!posted Sep 28, 2009Link to this post

Asha RaynerMarylandWorst Dryer I Have Ever PurchasedBought this dryer a year ago...the first one died on me when I was under it for the first 20 minutes and had to send it back..received a new one quickly which was the only positive experience...after receiving a replacement my experiences with it were annoying... had to tape the head of the dryer to the pole because it would continuously fall off no support connecting it to the pole...a little over 12 months it wouldnt heat anymore for no apparent reason..the most money I spent on a dryer.... should have stuck with the conair I had before which by the way after 5 years is still working.posted Oct 17, 2008Link to this post
