FabiolaBrooklyn, New YorkBest Dryer And Very Affordable!I purchased this Dryer 8 months ago, it takes 45 minutes for my hair to dry with roller set. It gets as hot as the dryers in the salon,For the price, Im in shock it works so good. You do need a Table to put it on and then adjust it, after that is very comfortable.posted Feb 26, 2008Link to this post

JanetSo Far, Its Great!!I love the Hot Tools professional salon bonnet dryer, I would recommend anyone who wants to make their hair at home to invest in one. When i came to America, i was so frustrated because i was not used to making my own hair(in Kenya salon service is real cheap)Having relaxed hair, i needed something that would work for my hot oil treatments, deep conditioning and roller sets. I trusted the previous reviews on this dryer and I do not regret my decision. The dryer is effective, easy to use and has four heat settings, the meduim heat setting is hot enough, I dont even need to set it on high. I love this dryer, im even thinking of buying my mother (whos in Kenya) one and mailing it to her!! If you wanna invest in a dryer, invest in this one, its affordable and will give you the salon look you want.posted Feb 20, 2008Link to this post

JudyWis.Exactly What We WantedThe dryer was exactly what we were looking for. Unlike the one we looked at at a local Salon products store this one opens and closes great. Very easy to use. Had to get use to repostioning a little to get the back of hair dry but once that was figured out all is great. Several shut in Ladys can now get thier hair done!posted Feb 4, 2008Link to this post

FrancineHairCurly HairWorks Great!I have curly hair so a regular blow dryer wont work. I just lightly towel dry my hair after my shower and put a little leave-in conditioner in it, then sit down under my Hot Tools dryer for ten minutes while I lotion up my feet and read a morning devotional. Its really a nice way to start the day! Ten minutes gets my hair almost dry, dry enough that it is totally dry by the time I leave the house about 45 minutes later. Im really very happy with this product, and it was a great price.posted Jan 23, 2008Link to this post

D.c.TorontoHot Air Blast From The PastI didnt purchase this from Folica (Im in Canada and the shipping charges would have been excessive) but I did use Folica.com to research bonnet hairdryers, and the glowing reviews here all pointed me in this products direction. Basically I wanted the closest thing I could get to the classic hard-bonnet dryers of the 60s, and this item seemed to fit the bill. (I would *love* an actual vintage dryer, but Ive never found one in a thrift shop and again, shipping charges would negate whatever bargain I might find on eBay.) It works just like the old Lady Sunbeam my mother had, and dries my roller sets in about 45 minutes or so--though I dont set my hair sopping wet, just lightly dampened with setting lotion, and the medium setting is about as hot as I can stand. It must be pretty well built--one of the handles on the box broke while I was carrying it home, causing me to drop it on a subway platform, but I dont see any signs of damage and its been working just fine. I only wish they used a nicer grade of plastic with a shiny finish, just so itd feel even more like a classic dryer of yesteryear--but the appearance does not detract from its performance.posted Jan 17, 2008Link to this post

Roberta SeymourFloridaGreat Deal!!!Great for Roller Setting, doing hot treatments, demi-colors processing. It definetly won`t blow dry your hair flat. But thats not whats meant to do. I loved it.posted Jan 11, 2008Link to this post

RoycelynRochester, NYGreat For African American Hair! This dryer is perfect for the smoothest, bounciest wrap you ever had! Delivers great results every time. In fact, I do not have to bump my hair nearly as much as I would with the traditional hand held dryer.posted Jan 7, 2008Link to this post
