Don't Buy IonicTerrible hair dryer. The holes are only at the top--don't even reach the top of my ears. There is only 2 heat settings--one extremely HOT and the other cool. Did they not test it before putting it on the market?posted Nov 3, 2010Link to this post -

Horrible For Med To Long Hair Roller Sets!Ok, so Ive been setting my hair for 15+ years. I am a Black female with hair past mid-back and Im tired of crappy dryers!!know a good dryer when I use one. This one is horrible. The air vents are only @ the top and a few in the back. Sides and back of hair is totally neglected. Save your money invest in a better dryer. Motor Melted The Fanwhile using the ion hair dryer i smelled burning plastic. i turned the hair dryer off and unplugged the unit. while looking at the dryer to find the source of the smell, i noticed the fan blades for one of the motors was melted into the screen covering. this product should be recalled, or maybe a two for one sales policy should be enacted.posted Aug 13, 2007Link to this post

Too Good To Be True!!This dryer sounded way too good for the price. Its supposed to work well but its so weak. I would have been better off air dyring my hair (thats what I felt like I was doing anyway, especially when you press the "ion" button). It worked for the 1st week and I alsolike that its very light weight-- other than that its garbage. Ionic Hot Tools Hair DryerThis is a great product for those who do not wish to dry their hair with a blow dryer or flat iron because hair is frizzy, naturally dry or prone to curl... The only problem is finding a suitable way to position the dryer so that one can maximize its use and also be comfortable sitting under it. The ionic feature and settings makes for miminum dry time. Hot Tool Salon DryerI bought a solan hair dryer in March of 05 , It worked for three weeks and blew out. I sent it back to Helen of Troy for replacement . as of Aug 05 I still waiting. The replacement that was sent was a hand dryer. I had to pay another shipping to send it back So I have sent the first dyrer back ,which was 20.00 to send back, Then another 10.00to send the hand dryer back .And still have not gotten a replacement for the 49.99 Hot tool Icon Salon dryer I purchased.posted Aug 12, 2005Link to this post

Ion Salon Hair DryerI had to learn to use my ion dryer before I loved it. I liked the sleek design and featherlite weight of the dryer immediately, but the first time I dried my hair too long and dryed it out. The second time I used the ion the entire time and my hair was too soft. Now I dry for 10 minutes on hot, 5 minutes on cold and 5 minutes on hot with the ion on. My hair is short and fine but thick and this combination left my hair healthy looking and with nice body.posted Jul 12, 2005Link to this post
