Hot Tools Bella 2000 Salon Turbo Ionic Hair Dryer

JessicaJust An Ok Dryer.Based on the research I've done, ion dryers are supposed to be healthier for your hair and dry it faster and with less frizz than regular dryers. Honestly, I did not notice a bit of difference. The Hot Tools Bella 2000 Salon Turbo Ionic Hair Dryer is reasonably priced for this type of hair dryer, but I didn't see the results I was expecting.posted Dec 12, 2011Link to this post

MorganPhoenixHairMedium BrownFine or Thin HairChemically Treated HairWhat A Difference A Professional Hair Dryer Makes!I bought this dryer through Folica a few weeks ago and wow, am I impressed! I've been using a cheap Revlon dryer for the past three years and have never been quite happy with it. I have baby fine hair that I have a difficult time volumizing. The Revlon got uncomfortably hot and the low heat was almost worthless it was so low. I thought I would splurge on a professional dryer but didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on it. $100 was my max and I did a lot of research reading reviews here on Folica and also on Ulta.com. I was originally going to get a higher priced BaByliss, but was concerned that some reviewers reported that the machine sparked. I decided to take the chance on this lower priced dryer since I had a Hot Tools flat iron in the past (which I was generally happy with, though it did tend to pull out some of my hairs when I used it). I have to say that I ADORE this dryer and the results are positively amazing! I'm so happy that I went with this one. The dryer has three heat settings and three speed settings so you can customize exactly the result that you want. Looking at the picture I was concerned that the switch might dig into my hand and be uncomfortable to hold, but that is definitely not the case. Reviewers noted that the BaByliss concentrator didn't stay on well, but with the Bella the concentrator clips in solidly and I don't have to worry that if I set it down the concentrator might fall off. While the dryer gives great heat it doesn't heat up the outside of the machine, so it is nice and cool to the touch. I don't feel like it's a heavy machine, but it is a little heavier than my old Revlon (which was a travel dryer anyway). Overall, I'm very pleased both with my purchase and with Folica's fast shipping. Thanks Folica and Hot Tools for keeping my hair looking fab!posted Nov 3, 2011Link to this post
