Hot Tools Anti-Static Ionic Travel Hair Dryer
-
AnonymousWashington, DCGreat Travel DryerThis hairdryer is very practicable and functionable. I was afraid it wouldnt be warm enough since it only has two heat settings, but it worked just as well (if not better) than my full-sized Conair hairdryer which I use on a regular basis. The ion setting does in fact help control frizziness and static, which is a common problem for me since I have fine hair, and I also like that it has a cool air button. I do agree with the other reviewers that the attachment falls off easily (sometimes just by putting the dryer down -gently-), and that is my only complaint about it. Nonetheless, its a very good dryer for travel and even every-day usage if you are looking for a compact dryer.posted Apr 2, 2007Link to this post

KeriWashington, DcDied After One Yeari really like this dryer - it dries my hair faster than my old conair dryer and leaves it much more manageable. however, after one year (the length of the warranty) it simply stopped working for no apparent reason. i wound up buying it again because it is cheap and i did like it while it lasted but if you looking for something that lasts longer then i dont recommend it.posted Feb 13, 2007Link to this post

SherrieOKGreat!I purchased the Hot Tools Anti-Static Ionic Travel Hair Dryer in June. I have had no mechanical problems with it at all. It is about the same weight, little less, than my old Conair. The barrel is almost 2 inches larger than those small white hotel wall mounted travel dryers. Works far better than those do. The folding handle is great for travel. I have thick, wavy, shoulder length hair and it is smoother, less frizzy just with this dryer. (I still use my Sedu Ionic Tourmaline Straightening iron though.) It dries my hair in less than 10 minutes. An definate improvement from my old Conair dryer. I would highly recommend this.posted Sep 6, 2006Link to this post

NatashaLos AngelesGood Product - But File Your WarrantyThis product is good, ionic hairdryer that folds down for easy travel. However, do file your warranty, I had bought one last year, and after 1 year the heat setting blew, I could only use the low heat setting. So file your warranty on this.posted Sep 6, 2006Link to this post

AnonymousChicagoland IllinoisGreat Product!Bought this for an upcoming trip to Europe and have only tried it in the US but it is as good as my regular "home" hairdryer--the Babyliss Pro TT-- for 10% of the price! I have frizzy thin hair and the ionic feature really smoothes it. The nozzle attachement is not very secure (as others have mentioned) but I dont really use it. I am thrilled with the price and the quality of this hairdryer--as well as the good express shipping service from Folica.com.posted Aug 1, 2006Link to this post

AnonymousTexasGood - Not GreatThis is a good hair dryer - not a great go-out-and-buy-it-right-now-or-youll-regret-it hair dryer - but its good for what it is. The anti-static button seems to work. Ive been using it for about 2 weeks and havent had any major static issues so far. The only problem I found with it is that the Concentrator attachment will not securely fasten. It just doesnt stay attached very well so the littlest bump makes it fall off. Other than that, this dryer works well.posted Jul 18, 2006Link to this post

YolandaLas VegasExcellent TimesaverIve never used an Ionic hairdryer before so i was blown away by how quickly the process took. my hair is coarse and thick and unrelaxed yet it took almost half the time it normally takes to dry it and it was sooo smooth! My hair texture was just right for the flat iron. Hot Tools Travel hairdryer has just the right weight and just the right price. I highly recommend this product.posted Jul 17, 2006Link to this post

BeckyOlympia, WAJust What I WantedI am going to in England and wanted a travel blow dryer that could swith voltage. This one really worked well on my hair to dry it fast and smooth it out. I have thick curly hair that I straighten, so the attachment that comes with it is perfect. I also really like that it folds up and Ive been using hot tools for years and am always satisfied.posted Jun 30, 2006Link to this post

ErlybirdAZA Great Travel Dryer--especially For The Price!I needed a travel blowdryer and considered buying the T3 Tourmaline--but I could not bear to part with $130 (plus shipping costs)!! I opted to buy the HotTools blowdryer instead and I have no regrets. It dries my coarse hair quickly. One small quibble: the nozzle falls off relatively easily. If I ever become a jet set traveler, I may buy a more expensive blowdryer. For the amount of traveling that I do, the HotTools travel blowdryer suits me just fine.posted Jun 28, 2006Link to this post

MiaConnecticutNot As DescribedThis blow dryer left my hair frizzier and more fly away than usual. In addition, the concentrator attachment does not stay on. At the slightest touch, it falls off of the blow dryer.posted Jun 26, 2006Link to this post
