I have colored, fine, straight hair and change my style and length quite often. This styling brush works wonderfully without causing damage and I use it on a daily basis (and often more than once a day). Your hair will not tangle and actually smooths out frizzy ends, and you can make perfect curls if needed. I would highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, has not been able to conquer the task of using a brush and blow dryer. I have all three sizes to use depending on the style. For years, I spent a fortune trying to find the perfect styling brush and finally found it. Please, please, please Helen of Troy -- do not discontinue making this product.
P.S. Thank you Folica for carrying this line of brush. For quite some time now, I have not been able to find it anywhere in a salon and/or beauty supply store in the Phoenix metro area.posted Sep 7, 2012Link to this post -
ValLakewood, COHairBlondeColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairNice Tool, Yet Not Like My Old Hot Tool...I replaced my old Hot Tool brush/dryer because he kept breaking BUT when it was working I was able to style my hair the way I like it. With my new Helen of Troy, I am having to practice a bit to get used to it. It has a great feature to release your hair, and it has 3 settings low , high and cool. You can get a great curl, by setting it to high, then back to cool. I ordered the medium barrel, and I have fine, wavy hair. It works well for fine hair...doesn't grab and pull. I hope to keep improving on using this tool. I have a tough time getting the volume I got from my Hot Tool.posted Jul 26, 2012Link to this post

FlorencePhiladelphiaHairMedium BrownColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairJust What I Was Looking For!!I really like this brush--I've bought so many different kinds but this one really dries and curls my hair quickly and nicely!! I have arthritis and have trouble styling my hair so this brush helps a lot. My only complaint is that my hand slides on the brush handle when I'm styling my hair --maybe a better grip non-slip handle would be an improvement. Other than that, I do like the brush and will probably buy other sizes.posted Mar 16, 2012Link to this post

Mrs. SCaliforniaHairDark BrownColor Treated HairThick or Coarse HairChemically Treated HairLoving It!!!I bought a hot air brush because I never mastered the big round brush with the hair dryer thing. My hair would get really tangle but I always wanted to achieve the blow dry hair style that my stylist would do after a cut. The hair brush achieves that look and then more. I have long and a lot of hair so I was worried about the tangles. But the brush is so easy to use and gives me a nice wave and sexy volume. I LOVE IT! AND it does not even take me 10 minutes even with my hair being damp. I am NOT a hair stylist nor one of those women who knows how to put on their MAC make up perfect. I am just a woman who loves to have nice hair. The hot hair brush is really awesome and I will (and have) recommended it to anybody.posted Jan 15, 2012Link to this post

PamelaBoise, IdahoHairAuburnNormal HairAt Least 3 Tools In OneAwesome dryer - curls or straightens - whatever you need or want. Never tangles and has lasted forever (several years - at least 5 as of December 2011)! In fact, my bristles are about gone and I had to use some heavy-duty tape to stabilize the barrel, but it still is going strong!! Until recently, you could turn it on and off while in use without having to wait for it to cool before it would start again. I have two new backups and am going to order another one. It is truly the best curler/straightener/dryer out there. I also use use it on my dry hair for touchups. Seriously - I absolutely love this product.posted Dec 15, 2011Link to this post

Spike A.United StatesHairWhiteFine or Thin HairAdvised Not To UseI have worn my hair super-short almost all my life, in basically the same style for the past 30 years. Recently I grew it out for six months (kicking and screaming every day, lol) specifically to get a different super-short style I fell in love with, which has a long asymmetrical bang that requires "a little volume at the crown." I bought this styling tool because of the review from the woman with the fine/thin hair and dislocated shoulder who said she could use it with only one hand (I have a disabled arm, and have NEVER been proficient with either a curling iron or a blow-dryer + round brush).
When I brought this tool in to my stylist so she could teach me how to use it she told me firmly NOT to use it; she said ALL tools of this type are TERRIBLE for all types of hair, but ESPECIALLY for fine/thin hair.
So I really don't know if it works or not, and would definitely return it if I hadn't already discarded the packaging :(posted Oct 6, 2011Link to this post -

MelissaLexington, KYHairLight BrownOily HairFine or Thin HairCan't Do Without It!I love the 3/4 hot air brush! Wouldn't live without it! I was using a 1" brush but since my hair is a bit shorter now, I needd something smaller. It makes my hair so shiny, gives me SO much body and even some soft waves/curles if that is what I desire.
When I don't use one of these and just blow dry my hair it's really flat, thin and lifeless.
I would highly recommend these for anyone with fine hair.
I'm going to order another soon so I have it for travel!!posted Jun 11, 2011Link to this post -
LorieHairLight BrownFine or Thin HairThe Best Hot Air BrushI have been using Helen of Troy hot air brush for years, but the one I had for at least 10 years broke. Actually, it fell off a shelf, otherwise would still be using it! I love the way it gives my hair body and volume, very easy to manage for days afterward. Don't even need a volumizing product with it! This is the best styling tool and I wouldn't want to be without it! Thanks, Helen of Troy for an awesome product!posted Apr 14, 2011Link to this post
