Elchim SuperPolo Turbo Dryer

HairproRead This Review First!I am a professional hair stylist for 22 years. I have used many different brands in my career & I always come back to Elchim! This particular model is my all time favorite! For the price (& DON'T buy it overpriced at a salon) it is an awesome dryer. The previous review said it did not feature a cold shot button. Maybe she received the wrong dryer, because this one DOES have a cold shot. Also, she claimed that the "heat didn't transition fast enough"... WHAT??? It's a machine... how is it supposed to work, magically??? Whatever... If you need a powerful dryer at a decent price, buy this one. Just take good care of it & it should last years. :)posted Feb 5, 2010Link to this post

JenLos Angeles, CaGood, Not GreatI bought this hair dryer about a year ago, and looking back, I payed way too much for it. I payed about 120 bucks for it at a hair salon. Maybe If I bought it here for 72 bucks, I wouldnt have been as dissapointed as I am. It heats up great and does what hair dryers do. There isnt a cold shot button on it, only the different temperature button. I like that I can set it to three different temperatures, but I really wish I could give my hair a cold blast to set curls and flips. It doesnt transition from one heat setting to another very quickly, which is to be expected, and thats why that cold shot feature is so important on a hair dryer. I would not recommend it to a friend, or buy it again. Like I said, its does what its supposed to do, and not much more than that. Its a good basic blow dryer. It heats up well, has different temperature and power settings. It includes some extra filters and an attachment. I think there is probably better out there for the same price. This isnt to say that Elchim is a bad brand, but this isnt one of the best hair dryers. I think there is better out there for the same price.posted Oct 2, 2007Link to this post
