HeatherAZHairBlondeNormal HairCurly HairColor Treated HairThick or Coarse HairGreat Until....I have thick naturally curly hair and before I got this dryer it always took me 30-40 minutes to dry my hair and then more to run the flat iron over it again because it didn't get straight enough. With this dryer it takes about 15-20 min. and I use the iron on only a few parts. That's the good part. I have had 2 of these dryers in about 6 months. For whatever reason when I am using it on the low speed setting it somehow changes itself to the fast setting without me touching the button and then goes back. When the first one did it, I just thought it was fluke and took it back and got another...and now that one is doing it. It's never been dropped or anything. While it still gets hot and still works for the most part I'd like to get one that isn't possessed and after reading some of the other reviews I just might. MariahGreat Hair Dryer, Short Life SpanI bought this model and used it for personal use everyday. I ran it about 15-20 minutes a day because I have thick hair. It did a great job, and made my hair shiny and smooth. It lasted about 2 months before acting up (blowing cold air intermittently), and a six months before it completely stopped getting hot. It now runs with only cold air blowing. My previous hair dryer lasted 3 years, after someone else had already been using it. I'm incredibly disappointed in this dryer. I would suggest spending a little extra money and getting something made better. I definitely won't make that mistake again.posted Feb 19, 2010Link to this post

PattyPalm Springs, CA USALove The Dryer!!!Makes my hair silky and shinny, lightweight and I like the look! As far as the Professional Stylist review goes . . . If she's using the dryer several hours every day, 5 days a week, that's like the dryer lasting like 4 or 5 years for most of us . . . I use my dryer for 5 - 7 minutes once a day!posted Dec 30, 2009Link to this post

AnonDecent Dryer, But Doesn't Last LongI bought this dryer around Christmas because I really needed one and it was on sale. I am a hairdresser, and so I am familiar with cricket products, and generally find them to be quality. I loved this dryer at first, it worked well, wasnt too incredibly loud, its super light-weight, and its a cute dryer, and so I was happy for a little while. Then at the beginning of this month, july, the dryer stopped getting hot. It used to make my clients hair smooth and shiny, now it wont even get it dry.Its a good dryer, but I really wish it lasted a bit longer. I was so sad when I threw it in the trash. I have a HAI now, and I love it to death, heres hoping it lasts longer than this one.posted Jul 13, 2009Link to this post
