Cricket 5200 IT Dryer
-
GinnyKent, WashingtonSort Of Mediocre...I've had this hair dryer about 3 years and yesterday it quit. Until then, I liked it, but for the price I paid I expected it to last longer. For the most part it was comfortable to use, but sometimes I found myself accidentally changing the temp or speed buttons because they're both right there under my thumb all the time. The instant shot of cool button isn't instant by any means--it takes several seconds to cool down. The noise level is about average but it isn't quite as high-pitched and annoying as my old $20 Vidal Sassoon dryer that I had to dig out from under the sink to finish my hair today. I probably won't buy this hair dryer again--it wasn't fabulous or long-lasting enough to justify the price.
AND, I read in another review of another hair dryer that there might be a connection between ionic dryers and red itchy skin behind the ears which I've had off and on . A coincidence? Hmm...I don't know.posted Aug 25, 2010Link to this post
