AndreaHairColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairPractice Makes Perfect?I recently purchased the conair soft bonnet, i have only used it 2 times so far, but the second result was definitely better than the first! i have fine limp hair that holds for an hour and goes flat, sets are my only "all day" option. if it doesnt work the first time adjust your temperature around while your setting, 1 minute high then 5 minutes on medium, and so on finishing with a cool setting of ten minutes.posted Mar 28, 2011Link to this post

Mary S.HairDark BrownNormal HairLike ItReally like it, my mom loves it lightweight and dries her hair fast, has different levels of heat settings, lightweight, and allows for movement while drying, Opening a little too small to put all attachments in but all in all good dryer.posted Mar 16, 2011Link to this post

Sharon Q.Too HotMy clients just hate this dryer. It is so hot they are afraid it is going to burn their heads. And that isn't even on the highest setting. The hose is so hot you can't even touch it, I am looking for another that does not get so hot. One of my clients has an old Lady Sunbeam we are using for her because it doesn't get so burning hot. All my clients say it is to hot, It is a Conair, If any one knows of one that doesnt get burning hot please let me know, I have sent one dryer back to the company and they sent me one just like the one I sent them. I have looked on the web for a Lady Sunbeam and it looks like they don't make them anymore, posted Jan 29, 2011Link to this post

GeorgiaSo Disappointing!I didn't get the results I expected and was sorely disappointed...even angry. The unit runs for a while, then shuts off. It didn't even get hot enough to do that. It's very touchy and sensitive. If the bonnet touches the plastic connecting ring, it shuts down; if the hose isn't in a certain position, it shuts down, etc. With this going on, it would take me all day to dry my hair. I finally ended up drying my hair with a portable hand held unit. Wish I never threw away my old bonnet type with duct tape holding the hose together. That worked far better than this item!posted Dec 23, 2010Link to this post

Linda M.San DiegoHairGreyThick or Coarse HairGood For Your HairI'm an African American woman with natural hair and I'm a firm believer in using gentle heat or air drying my hair. This dryer is wonderful. The bonnet is large enough for a head full of extra large rollers and because it is not rigid like the typical home dryer I can sit comfortably any where in the house. I have not used the attachments because I don't need them but they look like work fine. I'm glad they are still making them and hope others will recognize the benifits of an old fashioned roller set.posted Sep 28, 2010Link to this post

LuluNot Such A Great Hair DryerThis hair dryer failed after 3 uses. It overheated and started up again after it cooled down. This is a 'does not work' moment if I had been drying my hair on a deadline to make a meeting!!! Thank goodness my back up was a second hair dryer. Be warned if you buy this product. You get what you pay for.posted Jun 28, 2010Link to this post
