KarenPennsylvaniaHairDark BrownDry HairCurly HairColor Treated HairThick or Coarse HairCan't Live Without!I came to Folica looking for a replacement hair dryer because after 4 years, one of the elements is burned out. I was really pleased to find my favorite on this website for the best price - I paid $49 for my original 4 years ago on another website. This is the BEST hair dryer I have ever used and trust me, I have quite an array of hairstyling tools. I have very curly, frizzy hair and it smooths it out without loosing body. I seperate the hair by layers and dry from underneath. I use the cool shot on the ends to save them from breaking. I finish with the BaByliss steam flat iron (also on this site-best price) for a completely straight, smooth silky look. Heat protection product is a must; the heat is damaging if you're not careful.

HeatherUnited StatesHairMedium BrownThick or Coarse HairLike Manna From Heaven!Every day is a "good hair day" with this dryer! This baby dries and styles my hair in 5 minutes flat which is huge for a busy mom like myself who is all about the wash and go :-) The dryer really pumps out the heat on high so be sure to use a heat protection product or you WILL damage your hair. The attachments are sturdy enough for my very THICK hair too which is rare. The only changes I would make to this product would be to add a medium setting and make the cool shot 1-click rather than having to hold down the button.posted May 23, 2011Link to this post

SharonHairGreyCurly HairMy House Burned Down & The First Thing I Needed To Replace Was My Hairdryer. It's True!I've been using this style of hairdryer for many years but this newer model is incredible. With the brush and dryer all in one, there is no fumbling trying to style your hair by using a brush in one hand and a dryer in the other. It boggles my mind why people are still following the hairstylist methods of using two hands when, with this hairdryer, you have complete control of what you are doing to your hair, even at the back. You get silky smooth hair, complete style control whether you use rollers along with it or not. You can dry your hair from underneath which gives extra protection to the top layer of your hair that also gets sun exposure. I dry with the heat and when my hair is almost try, I use the cool button to eliminate the heat and set the hair by cooling it with the cool air button. There is a rhythm to the whole thing...hot to cool...not much different than heating your hair with any hairdryer then putting a roller in and letting it cool to set. I'm retired and live in Canada and Florida and have only been able to find this dryer in the USA so when my Canadian home was recently destroyed, one of the first things I did was go searching for a replacement hairdryer, but it is not available in Canada so I ordered online from Folica and it was delivered within 2 days. Yay..silky hair again.posted Nov 8, 2010Link to this post

SashaDry Your Hair Really Fast!Dries hair SUPER FAST. I saw reviews that said it worked well on thick hair, but I guess my hair is not thick enough because it kind of hurt my head to run the attachments through my hair, but if you use your hand to grab your hair first instead of just brushing against your scalp then it was fine. Overall I am happy with this product, def. worth the money and good for drying your hair fast! I have long hair and this cuts down blowdrying time from 30 to 8 minutes. I also loved the free hair accessories that came with it, super cute!posted Oct 14, 2010Link to this post

KarenMinneapolisHairCurly HairColor Treated HairThick or Coarse HairIf You Haven't Tried This Type Of Hair Dryer, I Suggest You Try This One!I have been very impressed with the changes made for this type of hair dryer. The attachments snap on with a release to remove them. It's the first time that I have been able to use a brush attachment without it popping off as I have thick hair. For many people that wish to have straight hair this may work for you w/o have to use a flat iron.
Enjoy!

AmyHairThick or Coarse HairGood At First....i have thick, frizzy hair and i straighten it nearly everyday. i thought this product would cut down on my straightening time and smooth my hair. at first, i thought i was in love, but after about a month it completely burned my hair before i even straightened it. it made my hair dry and frizzy. there was just too much constant heat too close to my hair...posted May 22, 2010Link to this post

JennMilwaukee,WIHairAfrican AmericanCurly HairLong HairGood DryerI am African-American & I have thick (natural, no relaxer, VERY curly) and long (past the shoulders) hair. This dryer works very well. I absolutely LOVE the straightening comb attachment becuase it goes through my hair with no pulling or breakage. I also like that the attachments lock into place & do not slide off. The dryer gets VERY HOT, which is both a positive & negative. It's positive becuase it dries my hair fast. It's negative because you need to be very careful that you don't overdry or burn your hair. However, if you condition properly & use a good heat protectant before drying, you should be fine. Overall, I would buy again because I haven't found a better quality styler dryer on the market. But I have 2 suggestions for Conair: (1) Sell replacement attachments, and (2) Have 3 heat/speed settings.posted May 16, 2010Link to this post

YvonneBest Hairdryer Ever! This hairdryer has made my life so much easier. It dries my long, exceptionally thick hair in seven minutes from totally wet, using the straightening comb, high setting. I actually timed it using the stopwatch function on my iPod because it was so unbelievably fast. I own the much more expensive T3 which pops circuit breakers on high. On the medium setting, the T3 takes 45 minutes. My one caveat is to make sure to use plenty of conditioner and styling product because the dryer gets really hot and that can be hard on your hair. I have the keratin protein treatment on my hair so it turns out nice and shiny but I use leave-in conditioner and Moroccan oil before drying. I love this dryer so much I put it on my Facebook page.posted Apr 6, 2010Link to this post

YvonneUnited StatesUnbelievably FastI have very thick, long hair (past the shoulder). This baby dried it, from totally wet, in about 10-15 minutes. Using the straightening comb, my hair dried nice and straight, and it was easy, effortless. No sectioning, no fooling with the round brush with my arms aching above my head. This dryer even helped tame the slight wave at the crown. Easy, effortless styling. Not even the T3 dries my hair this fast.posted Mar 23, 2010Link to this post
