Conair Euro Styler Champion

JanetanyuDisappointedI was a bit disappointed coz i thought it was small since its for travel purpose. You cant even fold it. And the heat settings when switch to a 250v you can put it on low only but the speed coming out is on hi settings. It is also not quiet. What i like with this is that your hair dries easily. And the value for a hairdryer is ok.posted Dec 5, 2010Link to this post

AdisonCan't Switch Voltage Levels--so Basically Completely Worthless If You're Going AbroadI couldnt switch the voltage to 250, the directions said "flick the switch" but despite using my finger nails, even a pen, I was unable to switch over the voltage levels. Maybe I just got a bad model, but still, Im going abroad and this was supposed work. What a letdown.posted Jun 20, 2009Link to this post

M. KeenSupposed To Be QuietI bought this travel styler because it was purported to be quiet. Although it was quieter than a regular one, it was not nearly as quiet as the Vidal Sassoon Quiet Styler and the Vidal Sassoon Quiet Traveler Id purchased a few years ago. I couldnt find those. I returned the Conair and found one that was somewhat quieter, though still not as quiet as the Sassoons. (I dont recall what brand it was and I am not able to look to see -- a brand I never heard of.)posted Feb 9, 2008Link to this post

AudreyBetter In The Us, But Still A Good DryerI live in the US. I bought this because I was going on a trip to the UK, and also needed a good new hairdryer. I tried it out first at home (US) and couldnt believe how quickly it dried my hair (thick and medium-long). My only complaint about that is that they advertise four heat/speed settings, when actually there are two speed settings (lo & hi) and a "cool shot" button. But its a good dryer nonetheless. Now, to use it in the UK, you need an ADAPTOR plug, but NOT a voltage convertor - you can use a screwdriver or knife or something to turn the switch to 250V instead of 120V, or however much it is. HOwever, you are not supposed to use the "hi" setting in the UK - you just turn it to "lo" and it works like "hi" in the US. Dries your hair VERY quickly, but it does get pretty hot on "hi." The one problem is that the "off" and "hi" settings are half an inch apart, so sometimes when you turn the dryer off you accidentally hit "hi." This doesnt seem to be a big problem as it hasnt melted or burned or stopped working, but I do think it could be better designed. Overall, though, it was gloriously cheap for how well it dries my hair, and Im glad I can use it overseas as well.posted Aug 1, 2007Link to this post

AnonymousPAFine For 20 Bucks. Its a decent dryer. Good value for money, especially if you travel internationally. The voltage switch is a little deceiving. I accidentally switched it to the incorrect voltage because I couldnt see the tiny arrow pointing.posted Jul 16, 2007Link to this post

Lynn HomanDryer Was Not What I Was Looking For.The dryer was very nice, but I didnt like the size. I was hoping for a smaller dryer, so I did return it to the company. But the service was very good. It was here in know time and I really appreciated that.posted Mar 1, 2007Link to this post

MollyCambridge, MAA Great DealI bought this after breaking my Super Solano, and I like it better! The very slight difference in power (I didnt have the most powerful Solano) is well worth the price and weight differences. My arm no longer gets tired just trying to do my hair. My hair is dry in seconds, though it is both short and fine. I will definitely buy this again if this one ever breaks.posted Jan 10, 2006Link to this post
