ElizabethDo Not BuyI have been through three dryers since February 2007. It is only October 2007. We use the dryer twice per day. What a waste of money. Now it only blows cold air. I think there should be a recall. JUNK!posted Nov 1, 2007Link to this post

CarolineCOMuch Better Than Average Hair Dryers But Still Room For ImprovementI found the hair dryer to be amazing with drying my hair without unnecessary poofiness. My hair feels softer and healthier. But the power buttons could be placed somewhere else. I turn it off by accident with the current location. And it seems to overheat as average hair dryers do. But it is by far the best hair dryer i have ever owned. def worth the money!posted Sep 14, 2007Link to this post

Josephine BraunTucson, Az.This Hair Dryer Is Above Average..Ive had this dryer for about 2 years now. Its been doing a pretty good job from having left Tredici Salon to Mark Speers Salon. My friend Marla has the Chi Rocket and that dryer dries the hair faster. It does cost a bit more I wish that one was available at the time I bought the Turbo. But it hasnt done me wrong yet. When working as a stylist we have to have the best and highest quality tools that are available.posted Sep 5, 2007Link to this post

Annmarie ReillyBlows Only Cold Air And Diffuser Pops OffI have had this product for a few months and the diffuser always pops off, the cord gets tangled, and it now only blows cold air. I am a hair dresser and will not recommend this hair dryer to anyone. What a waste of money!Annmarieposted Aug 26, 2007Link to this post

LauraGranbury, TexasShort LivedLoved using my chi dryer, but it only lasted about 1.5 years. It now only blows cold air, which does not do me much good, and Im out $150! I wanted to replace it with another but the retailer would not give me a discount on the dryer. I was afraid of it not lasting, so I purchased another brand.posted Jul 31, 2007Link to this post

DawnAZChi Blowdryer Defective-do Not Buy This One!I bought a Chi Dryer, loved it at first. Bought it because my T3 Tourmaline, which got great product reviews, blew up on me after 8 months. I blow my hair 3 times a week, and its shoulder length. I take good care not to drop dryers on the floor. So, bought that first Chi, and after 4 months it started smoking. Got ridiculously hot, and made noises. Returning it for warranty meant Id be without it for months, so I exchanged it at the store for a new one. Second one died in 3 months. Started blowing cold air and making noises. A glutton for punishment, I exchanged it once more, thinking maybe it was a bad batch in the stores shipment. Third one died in a record 4 weeks! Remember, I only blow my hair 3 times a week, if that. This one starting making noise and smoking, and would only work burning scalding hot air through the nozzle, on low. Went to store and exchanged it for a Solano. Ill keep you posted. In the meantine, let my lessons serve you well: DO NOT BUY ANY CHI DRYERS. P.S. I have the flat iron from CHI and its incredble. A real workhorse...go figure.posted Jul 23, 2007Link to this post

DaeThese Dryers Have Defective SwitchesDEFECTIVE DRYERS!!!!!!when the dryer blows ONLY COLD AIRtheres lil flat metal pin next to end of the nozzle, push it down with a pencil and itll blow hot air again, these dryers are VERY cheapy made, but no worriesIf you already bought one, head over to radio shack, get a Soldering iron kit about $10, and solder the broken loose connection on, its really easy and simple.I fixed 4 Chi dryers that blows only cold air.If you have any problems email me at distantarray (at) aim.com and ill work you thorugh it, ill post a video on youtube later.posted Jul 6, 2007Link to this post
