MichelleFremont, CA USALove Turned To HateI loved the way this dryer styled. I had bought my 1st a couple years back, when it had an electrical issue I thought it was a fluke. I ended up buying another just about a year ago (since I loved how it styled). When I received it I noticed that they had changed the electrical cord, so I realized it must have been a known issue. The electrical "exploded" on me today, just below the handle--it blew out the cord (I was lucky I was sectioning hair and it wasn't near my face!!)--after 1 year...posted Nov 19, 2009Link to this post

JessicaPoor Poor PoorThis is the worse blow dryer ever. After not even 8 months it no longer works. Worse than that the air always blew out cold for about a minute before it got hot. I will never buy any Chi again!posted Nov 17, 2009Link to this post

MariaNot Worth It...wish I Read The Reviews Before Buying:After about 1 year use and 150.00, the dryer let out a spark, and now it just blows out cold air! NOT WORTH IT!!!! Back to a cheaper version.posted Nov 12, 2009Link to this post

EmmyHate This Dryer!Ugh - I couldn't stand this dryer! It lasted just less than a year and I regretted buying it every time I used it. The high setting was too hot and weak at the sake time, so it took forever to dry my hair (and I do not have thick hair). The low setting wasn't worth using. After about 6 months the settings switch started getting touchy - sometimes it would work, sometimes not. I can't believe I spent so much money on this thing and got such poor performance from it. It didn't make my hair look any better than my husband's $15 drugstore hairdryer. A few weeks ago the setting switch started shorting out and I tossed it in the garbage. I recently ordered a FHI dryer based on positive reviews - hopefully it will be better than the CHI. I will never buy another CHI product again (even though my CHI flat iron lasted almost 8 years - its only now that I have a Sedu that I realized that the CHI iron wasn't all that, either. It used to catch my hair all the time, something that never happens with the new Sedu).posted Oct 13, 2009Link to this post

ChristinaPhiladelphia, PaHorrible ProductI can't believe I spent $140.00 and it only lasted 7 months. I had $10 hairdryers that lasted years. The dryer does not let out hot air anymore only cold air when I tried to blowdry my hair. I'm extremely dissapointed.posted Sep 26, 2009Link to this post

SherylLouisianaPoor QualityThe Chi Hairdryer was given to me as a gift for personal use only. It shorted out and threw sparks everywhere. The sparks caused burns over my hand. I am highly disappointed. The price is way too much for such as this to happen. A $10 product would last much longer. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!posted Sep 4, 2009Link to this post

AshleyVirginiaChi HairdryerI am a hairstylist and when I first started Cosmetology school I traveled to Hairshows....well I watched Chi there and they are awesome, so I figured on buying one of their hairdryers..it cost me 150.00$ and I should have just bought a 10$ hairdryer from a dollar store. It absolutly sucked. I see no difference in them than any other cheap hairdryer..that was a BIG LOSS of 150.00$ I will never do that again.posted Jun 9, 2009Link to this post
