It's A Great Tool!!!The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's just a little heavy, and as a stylist it can get tiring. However, I'm usually a CHI tool person and this whipped the CHI Nano. As A Stylist And Salon Owner....BEST DRYER I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!!!!!!! I HAVE LONG VERY THICK, COARSE, WAVEY HAIR. I couldn't stop touching my hair, and making everybody else in the salon feel it. My clients love the results, and are amazed that it is just from the blow dryer. They kept asking what product I used differently in there hair.

Not Worth The Money!
Had got the dryer in spring When first purchased power was good. Slowly it lost its power and the last time using it started smelling and black smoke coming from both ends. Love This DryerLove this hair dyrer. If your hair is dry or easily burns and/or breaks from high wattage hair dryers, this is the dryer for you. Drying time is quick and the result is a beautiful shine and fullness. For me this is the only hair dyrer on the market that keeps my hair healthy. I recently bought and returned 4 hair dryers that were 1875 wattage, until I found this 1500 watt dryer that is my hair's salvation.
If I were to pick one con about this dryer, it would be that I wish the cord was retractable and the dryer was a tad lighter, but other than that it is 'THE BEST" on the market for my dry, fine hair.posted Sep 4, 2010Link to this post -

Love ItThis is my first expensive hair dryer, and I do love it. My sister found out about it from her stylist and we both have really frizzy hair and this really cuts down the frizz. I also for some reason shed a lot so it seems that I always have those little hairs like a halo trying to stand up. This helps with that so much. Even if I let my hair dry at night I will use this for a couple of minutes just to smooth things down. It really is great,and I could never go back to regular dryers!! Love This Dryer And Bio Ionic Products!This is my 2nd bio ionic dryer... I initially bought a travel dryer b/c I'm always going somewhere for work about 2 yra ago and loved it so much that I finally let myself get away with buying a big one ;) I have fine, long, indian (ethnic) hair and use good products suggested to me by stylists I trust b/c I tend to be a little thin at the root. This blow dryer (along with the fantastic !!! bio ionic large round brush (blue series)) lets me dryer my mid-back length hair in 5 mins... I love that the cold shot button stays down on its own and I use that after blowing out my hair to make sure there are no frizzies, flyaways, and to prevent any kinks from forming later in the day. Best is that bioionic offers a 5 yr warranty on all their products... fantastic! It helps too that when I travel out of the states, I have no problem using it wherever I go. Between the bio ionic dryers I have, the quality brush, and pureology products, my hair is in fantastic shape! I haven't cut it in almost a yr (following a fantastic cut that has grown out well) and when I occasionally go to get conditioning treatments my stylist tells em that I don't have any split ends... that is the true test of a good dryer as I apply heat with it every 1-2 days with no damage! Smokin' Hot.....really!I have fine hair that I have to really be careful with, as it can become damaged easily. However, this blow dryer has damaged my hair so badly that my once long hair is now less than an inch long in places. I've never had hair break off like this but my hair is so brittle and fried in places that I may have to cut my hair really short. This dryer is way WAY too hot and with no lower setting you can burn hair, scalp, etc. very quickly - I would never buy this dryer again and recommend you keep looking!posted Jan 5, 2010Link to this post

You Will Not Be Disappointed With This PurchaseI have tried and returned several high-end hair dryers as defined by cost $200 and up and this one is the winner for me. I have coarse and thick black hair and this one produces a shine like no other coupled by a short-drying time. I also agree w/the other reviewer that the moving light on the side is a little cheesy but hands down it is an excellent choice for a dryer! No Medium HeatTHIS DRYER IS HOT!!!. SINCE I USE IT SELDOM ITS OK, AND I DONT STRAIGTEN I DIFUSSE (3C,4A THICK SL). I HOLD IT AS FAR AWAY AS MY ARM CAN REACH. THERE IS NO BUTTON FOR MEDIUM HEAT, IT HAS LOW AND HIGH. I DID NOT BUY IT FOR THIS PRICE EITHER SHOP AROUND I PAID 105.00 WITH SHIPPING. BE CAREFUL WITH THE DIFFUSER. I READ A REVIEW THAT THE DIFFUSE2 DOES NOT FIT. I GOT THE DIFFUSE3 WHICH FITS BUT HAS TWO SPRINGS THAT ALLOW IT TO STAY ON. ON THE 2ND USE ONE SPRING CAME OFF. I DONT KNOW IF IT CAN BE REPAIRED BUT FOR NOW IT STILL STAYS IN PLACE. I PURCHASED THIS TO DECREASE/ELIMINATE DAMAGE FROM BLOW DRYING TOO EARLY TO TELL. Too Hot!I used this model for 2 years, and my wavy, fine hair became progressive dry on the ends. The temp of the air coming out of this dryer was unbearably hot when using it on the high setting, which I needed to straighten my hair. Finally, one day, I heard a rattling sound coming from the dyer and shut it off, and saw that the inside of the nozzle was scorched. Yikes! Thats exactly what it did to my hair too, and Im now looking for a new dryer. This dryer is fast at drying and straightening, but will eventually fry your hair.posted Jun 8, 2009Link to this post
