Great ProductI recently purchased the Babyliss Thermal hood dryer and now can work out intensely and not worry about how much time it takes to dry my hair in the morning. My hair is soft and more shiney. I am black and have fairly thick hair (like Oprahs hair), but it is cut short. Drying time is approximately 15-20 minutes. I usually wrap my hair then spike it up after its dried. If needed, I may use my ionic blow dryer just to dry the damp spots. Great For Roller Sets!My husband and I both have long hair, past our shoulders, and were always looking for easy & convenient ways to dry & style it. Ive taken him to my stylist a few times for a shampoo and set, and he likes the results but is still not completely comfortable sitting in the salon under the dryer with his hair in rollers. Ive also tried hot rollers, for both of us, but we both like the results better using the old-fashioned "wetset" method. Hell sleep in soft curlers occasionally but for every-day styling we needed something more convenient. So I finally swallowed hard and spent the money on the standing dryer. What a great decision!I can now do his hair on Velcro rollers, at home, and pop him under the dryer for a half hour. Weve set up a "mini-salon" in our spare bedroom and its been a godsend for us both. (Hes actually getting pretty good at putting my hair up in rollers -- ) I set my hair almost every day and I do him in rollers 2-3X week. Since he can work on his laptop, or read, while under the dryer hes patient enough to let his rollers dry. We both enjoy our "dryer time" and the Babyliss dryer is definitely professional quality. Best Money I Ever Spent!Having very long hair, it can take forever to get it totally dry. I purchased this and believe me when I tell you, you wont be disappointed. I get under it and usually watch tv or play on the computer. Before you know it, your hair is totally dry and you are ready to go. It also doesnt frizz out my hair, which saves me from having to pull out the flat iron. Though pricey, to me it was the best money I ever spent. Not For MeTwo weeks after purchasing and receiving this dryer, I had to return it. It didnt work for my hair type. Im african-american with shoulder lenghth relaxed hair. It normally takes me 45-60 minutes to dry my hair after roller setting. With this dryer, an hour and half later, my hair was still quite wet. I went bacck for an aditional 15 minutes. Not a major difference. Finally, I had to finish drying with a blow dryer.The week after, my daughter had a similar experience. It took the poor child 2 hours to dry her hair(Dryer was on high the whole time. By the time she was done, her hair looked lifeless, and dull. Thats when I knew without a doubt to pay for the extra shipping cost and return it.Its also extremely noisy and uncomfortable. Love It!!As if the fast shipping wasnt a bonus enough -- the results are fabulous! I have thin, fine hair and what this dryer does to my roller-set do is incredible. I have beautiful body and curls the first day, then I can sleep on it and still have tons of body and waves on day 2. The body is still there on day 3!
