BobbiConway, MA USAHad To Adapt ItI don't see how the bristles will go through any but the thinest hair. However, the really good brush attachment from my beloved old dryer fits onto this dryer. It wasn't a great fit - kept sliding off - but a little duct tape on the sides have solved the problem. Why can't somebody make a dryer like this with a really substantial brush attachment?posted Dec 30, 2009Link to this post

HeidiRochester, NYNot Good For Thick HairI purchased this hair dryer despite some reviews that the boar hair bristles did not go through thick hair...thinking maybe these women have thicker hair than mine, (even though my hair dresser repeatedly tells me I have the thickest hair shes ever seen). Well, the bristles do not go through my hair either. The wide-tooth comb attachment works better, but does not style well. Fortunately, the brush attachment from my old dryer fits on this one, so I use that, even though it slips off from time to time. It does get very hot...so did my old dryer, which they dont seem to make anymore :( Positive points about this dryer are that its not super loud or heavy and the price is cheap.posted Apr 24, 2008Link to this post
