Great DiffuserThe diffuser is nice. You can switch from the prongs to a non-prong option with ease. The bowl is deep and holds my curly hair well while drying so it encourages the curl. However, in comparison with the Solano universal hair dryer this diffuser is not as deep and does not allow as much airflow so it takes longer for my hair to dry. I still like it and will use it as a backup. It also has rubber grips on the inside to help grip the blow dryer so it doesn't go flying off and hit you in the head.posted Dec 6, 2011Link to this post

Works Well, But Not Sure For How LongThe diffuser attachment does fit on my Solia, and totally gives me nice, bouncy curls. I have naturally wavey hair, and it's fun to be able to make it legit curly.
I have two complaints: one, the diffuser is HUGE and you really need to force it down on the dryer for it to stay. I makes the blow dryer pretty heavy. The other problem is that when my sister opened the box, she dropped it and two of the prongs snapped off. We glued them back on, but it doesn't bode well for it's longevity.
So, basically, the diffuser totally works, and my hair looks GREAT--but I worry that it will break soon...posted Sep 16, 2011Link to this post -

Getting Used To ItAt the age of 30, I decided it was time to start looking like a grown-up and styling my hair, rather than just air drying it and leaving it all to luck and weather. I have long, medium thickness, curly hair and want the option of wearing it either curly or wavy without completely frying it. I've been using this diffuser with the dryer Solia 1875W Thermal Ionic Hair Dryer for about a week now and I'm pretty pleased with the results. The diffuser is quite large, but I've gotten used to working with it and it actually allows for less shifting positions. I've tried various product combos, and mousse on damp hair before drying seems to work the best for a curly look. I've also found that it's less frizzy if I start with low heat, low force and then go to cool with low force. Using full blower force or full heat seems to make it more frizzy. I've only used fingered attachment on the diffuser, so I'm not sure how it would act with just the cupped one.posted May 30, 2011Link to this post

Good DiffuserI used this with my solia 1875w and it worked great. Its a bigger than what im used to but it gets the job done and my hair drys super fast. If you use the cold shot button for about 30seconds around your roots it gives you a little bit of volume.posted Apr 25, 2011Link to this post
