  • If You Can Take The Pain, This Is Great! 4 Star Rating
I love my emjoi. I have been using it on my underarms for over a year and now the hair there grows baby soft. I use the shaving attachment for my legs and can get a couple of days w/o shaving. This is good for me since my hair grows very fast. The emjoi is a little painful, but worth the pain. I love the fact that I no longer have dark stubble on my underarms. I have pretty thick hair so if you have fine hair it might be less painful. In either case, I guess that whether you love or hate the emjoi really depends on your tolerance for pain. I personally dont think that it is that bad. It feels like a pinch. I would have given it an excellent rating, but you cant use this on your face.

  • Top Of The Line Waste Of A Dime 2 Star Rating
I researched all of the Emjoi epilator products before I made my purchase; then, decided to go with this top of the line model Optima despite the higher cost. I felt the research showed it to be worth the investment. Boy was I wrong! The product is designed with a nylon gear system, inherently flawed from the inception. The gears begin to wear immediately and it doesnt take long for them to start wearing offset causing more problems. The motor begins to lock up and that adds to the rough wear and incorrect pattern of wear on the gears. (It isnt until the motor locks up that you know there is a problem.) Just one month after the warranty period, I had a product that I couldnt use and a company that actually agreed with me when I said so what you are saying is I wasted my money on your product?!
