Jess R.BostonHairDark BrownOily HairFine or Thin HairBest Round Brush I've Ever Used!I own the 3", and use it every time I blow dry my hair. In fact, I no longer use a straightener. I have long, fine hair (but a lot of it), and this brush allows for flawless blowouts. I air dry my hair until 80% dry, and then blow out each section with this brush and a super solano. I have tried many other brushes- drugstore, professional, ceramic, etc, and this is the best yet for my delicate hair (less split ends and damage than a ceramic).posted Last weekLink to this post

Emilia E.HairMedium BrownCurly HairVery Good Bristles On Brush...........I wanted so much to give this 5 stars, but the handles, are so poorly designed, no grip, on the wooden handles, I had to keep resting my hand, my wrist started to bother me, however:, I can't say enough about the bristles! It left my hair smoother & shinier.
If these brushes, had the handle of a Nexus Brush, I would give it more than 6 STARS! I thought the nexus brushes were good, but they actually burned my hair, but the handles are excellent!
Why can't the handles have some type of rubber grip, or be made wider?posted May 26, 2013Link to this post -
KathleenSeattleHairAuburnThick or Coarse HairStrong Natural BristlesOther reviewers mention 'static' and I experienced this also. The long bristles work well to brush for shine after drying. The little bit of dampness seems to create less static. The size of the handle is not much of an issue for my small hands. Well made natural product.posted Feb 15, 2013Link to this post

MeiHairBlackOily HairThick or Coarse HairNice Looking And Good For Gifts!I bought two 855 and one 854. I like 854 more because it's smaller to bring with you when traveling. The bristles of 855 are longer but little bit soft, maybe it's the way for the brush. I kept one for myself, the others for gifts. I'm sure my friends would love it.posted Nov 20, 2012Link to this post

FKCMOHairBlackCurly HairColor Treated HairThick or Coarse HairGood QualityI bought the 855.
I've only used it once, but so far I'm happy with it. You can tell it's of good quality materials. Haven't had the problems with the bristles falling out that I noticed in other reviews -- but again I just got it. I have quite thick, coarse, and voluminous hair and it definitely holds on tight and gets through it without damaging it or ripping it like most brushes. And, it doesn't add frizz like other products I've used.
My only complaint is the handle, which I wish was thicker or had a better grip on it. Kind of hurts my hand to use it after a while.posted Nov 3, 2012Link to this post -
Elizbeth M.CaHairColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairWorth Itoriginally bought 12yrs ago from hairstylist i totally trust:) who strongly recommended me switching out my round brush for the spornette. i did, it was great and made a hugh difference!!! then i damaged it after SEVERAL years of using. i couldnt remember what brand i bought(the spornette), so i bought several others thinking they were same and would perform the same....WRONG!!!! no other brush i purchased compared.... even real expensive ones that were recommended by other stylist. Anyway i finally bumped into my old hairstylist who still sells spornette brushs, and bought another spornette brush:) and am soo happy with my brush again!posted Nov 2, 2012Link to this post

LiliSingaporeHairBlackFine or Thin HairRelaxed HairReduces Friziness And Increases Hair Shine!I really love this brush. Although it is a my first brush, I do not regret investing in 854. I live in Singapore, where humidity is 90% all year round and as a result, my hair became really frizzy over the years. However, this brush really helps in reducing friziness and also gives my hair a matted shine which is amazing to slide my hands through. I also love the triangle shaped wooden handle which is simply a luxury to hold and grip.
I am not sure if all these frizz-reducing effects are also due to the double effect of applying "Sedu Anti-Frizz Polishing Treatment with Moroccan Argan Oil" before blow-drying, but it works mini miracles to light up your night, and the morning after. :)
However, I find that the boar bristles tangle with each other easily and I also have to untangle them to prolong it's life. In the process of untangling, some bristles also come out. I find about 4-7 strands of hair inside after each brushing session, but I think it's normal and worth it for the shine it gives at the end of the blow-drying session!posted Jul 20, 2012Link to this post -
SherryAtlanta, GAHairBlondeNormal HairDry HairCurly HairBest Brush Ever.Plain and simple, the 855 is the ONLY round brush to us on your hair. The salon(s) that I go to use it, and I bought one for my mother, sister, and mother in law. It makes that much of a difference.posted Jul 17, 2012Link to this post

Marnie L.NycHairColor Treated HairGrood Brush!!love how this brush 855 has long bristles that grab long hair and gives enough tension to straighten long hair, left my hair shiny and with volume. The only downsides i find are the super skinny handle (how can a big brush like that have such a thin handle you wonder...) I had to stop to rest my fingers every few parts of my blowout as the skinny handle forces you to make a pretty tight grip to roll it and after a couple of minutes your hand hurts.
Also, i remarked the quality of the brush is not top...I can see the bristle bunches ready to pop out any minute.
Overall a pretty good brush, the company should rectify the handle width and it would make a great productposted Jun 27, 2012Link to this post -
BrentanHairMedium BrownColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairChemically Treated HairNot For MeBought the 854 after reading the reviews. Tried it out and it would pull to much hair out. Bristles kept falling out as well. Not to happy with it but I guess I can use it for my bangs, it seems better fitted for shorter hair. Bought a Phillips Monstervent brush instead and love it, lots of volume without the frizz or hassle.posted Jun 5, 2012Link to this post
