Anyone Else?The first time I ran this through my hair, a handful of the bristles bent -- is that normal? They also seem a little sparse and like some of them are slipping into the vents a little bit.
Is it a defect or is that just how these types of brushes are? These rave reviews have me confused about what I just got in the mail.

Good BrushI used the 3.5 inch version of this brush for several years and for the most part, I was fairly happy with the brush, however, after that much use, and typically with hands that had just had some sort of product on them, the once clingy, rubber handle had lost all grip. In addition, I began to find the narrow base of the handle (closest to the brush) very uncomfortable in my hand. The one thing I did like about this brush is that it does not have two caps to hold the barrel in place which means less places for your hair to get snagged and yanked out in. Overall, this was a good brush while it lasted, however, I ended up going with a brush with a fatter handle.posted Sep 24, 2011Link to this post

The Brush Makes All The Difference!My hair is about shoulder length with layers and this brush is perfect! I've always thought a brush is a brush is a brush but I'll never look at them the same again. It glides through my hair and at the same time holds the hair on the brush for less fussing around making drying SO much easier. I spend less time trying to keep my hair on the brush plus it just holds more hair in general so it's cut down on my drying time. The size of the brush helps me create great volume and the ceramic + ion material leaves my hair super soft with no random flyaways. Seriously LOVE this thing.
