Great Brush!I have waist-length hair and after using the Keratin treatment, it has been extra flat. Don't get me wrong, I'll take flat hair with ZERO styling time than frizzy hair with 45 minutes of drying and flat ironing....any day!! Ready For Any DayI am a Pentecostal and have very long hair. Youth camp is coming up soon, and I always seem to lose my bobby pins before this yearly event. And since we're in dorms, it's a one for all, all for one environment. So, I NEED all the bobby pins I could get. These are very great and strong bobby pins. Out of the 50 i have used, maybe only 5-10 have slightly twisted while in use. But even so, they have a tighter, and stronger hold than most other bobby pins, which is something i greatly, greatly appreciate (:
The teasing brush is awesome as well. I have seen less breakage in my hair when I undo all the bobby pins, and it doesn't make the teased area into a nasty knot of chaos. I truly like it a lot, plus with a pointed end, I can easily part my hair, and separate it into sections when I am styling (:
Like in my other reviews, I am not a great hair stylist, but i do what I can with what I have. The paddle brush is very gentle and excellent with my long head of hair. It detangle and gently helps me prepare my hair for when I am about to style it with my curler or straightener as well.
Over all, extremely satisfied with this set of hair tools. It's my 3 pack to any hairstyle for a very reasonable price.

Teasing BrushI've never used one of these, thought it would do something more than a wide toothed pick but I guess I haven't yet figured out how it works. I have curly hair, I flat iron the top part, I want some lift in the crown area because it looks so flat from the iron, but without the iron its wiry and very messy. This Is The Best Teasing Brush Anywherer! A Must Have!!!!!This is the secret weapon! This natural bristle teasing brush is totally awesome! I have colored long blonde hair with extensions. My hairdresser uses a teasing brush similiar to this one on my hair to create volume on top of the head, along with teasing my side swept bangs and then smoothing them out.
When I saw this Monroe Teasing Brush on Folica, I bought two. Well, they are even better than the one my hairdresser uses. This is absolute love, love, love teasing brush. It does not break the hair, it gives amazing volume when used for teasing and stacking the teasing up the hair shaft. Then use it to lightly smooth the top so no little hairs are standing up, hair spray and my hair looks exactly like my hairdresser has just done it.

This Brush Is Awesome!This brush was highly recommended on the Racheal Ray Show so I decided to try it and their stylist was right! This is the best brush I have purchased to teased the hair without damaging your hair. I think it teases the hair really good. I won't use any other brush or comb after this. Hmmmdont be fooled by the picture, this brush is actually REALLY big! its about a foot long, no joke. The unique bristles do help reduce damage to the hair, but they really dont tease very well. You are better off with an old fashion comb.posted Aug 14, 2008Link to this post
