The Best Brush In The World!!!I read on a book that Mason Pearson brushes are the best brushes. I need a brush for my daughter. Because, she hated to brush her hair...now she loves to brush her hair. No more tears!!! She cried every time I brushed her hair. Now, she is a happy girl...priceless.

Very Delicate Tool - But Otherwise Fantastic!I bought the Mason Pearson Pocket Size Nylon & Bristle brush just to see what all the hullabaloo was about. As a poor college student, I used to use a knock-off BASS brush that I got at Whole Foods, but Folica's 20%-off discount and free shipping made this luxury hairbrush affordable for me.
I have wavy hair that hits my mid-back, and the Pocket Size is large enough to do the job. Previous to using this brush, my hair would get dry at the ends and had noticeable damage. I use this brush to shine my hair and to strip away any split ends or damage.
My only complaint is that the boar bristles bend easily and it is a very delicate tool to have. To ensure that this brush works for me, I make sure to use it only on dry, already-brushed, hair. The fact that this brush would not be durable without great care is why I give it 4 starts and not 5, but that is just my honest opinion. This brush is really more for just shining your hair, scalp-massage, and feeling luxurious for using the brand than anything else.posted Nov 2, 2010Link to this post -

The Best Brush!I love my Mason Pearson hairbrush. The cost is a bit steep, but I consider it to be well worth it as this brush will last for years and makes my hair so shiny! Best Hairbrush I've Ever OwnedI bought this pocket size to "try out" the Mason Pearson line. It is wonderful. It leaves my hair shiny, smoooth, and healthy looking. It also feels good to brush my hair, which makes it a real treat to use. I plan to buy a larger one for home use and move this to my handbag once I get a larger one.
