I heard good things about them but wasn't sure if it would be worth it since they are so expensive. I am so glad I took a chance and bought it. I love it! It really is an amazing brush and nothing else I have used compares to it!!!posted Aug 1, 2011Link to this post

CareliaNCHairBlackMy Lost Love!!!I have used this brush for more than 10 years, but recently while moving process I lost my brush, trust me..I looked every where and no signs of my beloved brush. One day I read from others reviewers that Sonia Kashuk has the same brush for a lot less, I ran to target and purchased the brush, saddly it was too good to be true. Kashuk brush was hard and horrible, the bristles very cheap made and some shaded right after first try and my scalp could not take one second more from that brush. Ladies..lesson learned. Mason Pearson you are the only one for me. Thanks to Folica.com and their great discount promotions, I purchased the brush again. This time I purchased the handy size mix. I lost the popular large size, but this handy size is big enough to brush my long hair and get rid of the tangles that snick around my neck. (see pic for size) The quality the same as my old brush, I am glad I ordered a smaller size this time (handy size) saved me $$ and I still get the same smoothing effects than the large one. Ladies you will not regret the purchase of this brush, don't go and buy a Mason Pearson wanna be brush, save your $$ for your real Mason Pearson's fund. For reference, my hair is wavy, medium and long. Mixed bristles works better for me than only board bristles. The nylon bristles take care of my tangles and the board bristles do the smoothing and polishing work.

JulieGreat Handy Brush! When I look at the picture, I thought it would be alot smaller than the Junior brush. I purchased both the Handy and Junior sizes. To my surprise, this brush is not that much smaller. Both are the best brushes I've ever purchased. Make my hair really shiny and eliminate static.posted Mar 10, 2010Link to this post

Colleen MckennaChicagoOh Now I Get It....After debating for maybe a year or so over buying this brush my stylist finally convinced me. Now that I have the brush I understand all the hype. The nylon bristles stimulate your scalp, and it feels wonderful. The boar bristles make it smooth and shiny. I have thin hair and its nice. Amazingly my 7 yr old has VERY thick hair and I can tame it quickly with this brush. Somehow it gets all the way through without yanking or pulling on her head. My only regret is that I didnt get the bigger size, the handy size really is a bit small. But I love it.posted May 9, 2008Link to this post

AmandaSan Jose, CaliforniaMason Pearson BrushI am writing this review because I read everything I could before I purchased this brush. I have owned my brush for 1 year now and I have been very pleased. My hair is fine with some curl and would get tangled easily. With the Mason Pearson brush, the tangles do not pull my hair excessively, they brush through with ease. I have the "Junior" mixed bristle brush. I wish I would have known about this brush many, many years ago. I will use it forever. If for some reason I ever lost my brush, I would purchase another immediately.posted Apr 15, 2008Link to this post

PheebieNew Orleans, LAA Great "take It With You" BrushAfter purchasing and falling in love with the Mason Pearson "Popular" model, I realized I wanted a scaled-down version to tote around with me on days I had straightened my hair. Enter the aptly-named "Handy" model. It performs just as well as the "Popular," but due to its size, it travels well and is a better fit for a handbag. Pricey, yes, but this is your HAIR were talking about - dont you want whats best for it? Besides, if you take care of this little guy, it should last you a lifetime.posted Aug 2, 2006Link to this post
