PamHairBlondeDry HairColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairChemically Treated HairIt's About Time!I spend about $100+ per month on hair care products to try to get my hair looking silky-smooth. I thought it was hopeless and that age and processing would not allow me to have the beautiful hair of my youth What was I doing wrong? The one factor I hadn't added into the mix was a natural boar bristle hairbrush (which I regularly used when I was younger - plastic was NOT used to make hairbrushes then). I had shied away from this purchase because of the expense but then I stopped to do the math. One hairbrush was about 1/3 the cost of the product I was using so I thought it was worth a try.
My frizzies are tamed, my curls look natural, my hair looks healthier! The ion helps my hair dry faster, the shape makes it easy to use with my blow drier and my conscious is eased by using a natural product. In the long run, it is even less expensive than using all that "stuff" on my hair to make it look better. It's a total win-win situation!
THANK YOU!!

Ana MedakEastlake, Ohio, Currently In Sarajevo, Bosnia And HerzegovinaBio Ionic Large BrushI bought it cause it was pricy, and usually pricey things work. Well this brush just pulled my hair and didnt work at all for me. Used it only one time and never again. I am very disappointed, and would not recommend it.posted Feb 13, 2008Link to this post

AlenaMAPrice Does Not Correlate With PerformanceI was expecting more from a $40 brush. It doesnt move easily through my hair, which is relatively fine and straight. Also, my hair gets easily caught in the part of the rubber grip of the handle that my hand doesnt cover.posted Feb 8, 2008Link to this post

Bhavna De MontebelloNew York, NYNot What I ThoughtI bought the largest Boar Bristle Brush for $40 which is a pretty penny to spend on a hairbrush- lets be honest. So I did have fairly high expectations. I would say the quality and workmanship of the brush is quite decent. But when I used the brush in conjunction with the T3 Featherweight tourmaline hairdryer (which I consequently returned for other reasons)- it introduced some serious static to my hair. And the static had a flattening effect on my hair (rather than a volumizing effect- which is why I bought the largest round brush in the first place.) So I was not pleased. Maybe the tourmaline hairdryer which I know has some ionic technology in it, didnt go with the ionic brush for some reason? Too much ionic stuff going on at once? Ive no idea. Anyway, be weary of that if you have an ionic hairdryer. Maybe the brush would work better with a ionic bio hairdryer? Ill let you know if I find out. Any way those are the risks you take when you spend $40 on a non-returnable brush I guess. Thems the breaks as they say.posted Nov 1, 2007Link to this post
