Cute & Colorful Bobbies -- Just For FunI bought these brightly colored (2 ½ inch long) bobby pins to pull up the long layers of my thick, long blonde hair & add a little pop of color. These do not slip but since I have very thick hair, I need two to hold my hair back in a half up/half down undo. These hold well but they don't appear to be any better made or markedly different than the other brands I've owned & in time, I imagine they'll become less taut & reliable as they become stretched.
As a blonde, the blue is looks the prettiest against my light blonde hair but I am disappointed that the pink was a touch too bright (but it would look quite lovely worn in darker hair). While the dotted black & white is sweet, the white is the flat & a tad uninspiring. I will use this every so often but wanted a little more 'oomph'.posted May 17, 2011Link to this post
