Great ProductConair had made pins like this for along time. When they stopped I'd looked online everywhere. I finally found these. They're a perfect substitute! I like to wear my hair in Thumbelina buns and loose, messy buns. These are the only pins that will hold my hair up while leaving it intentionally 'undone'. I've tried the Goody corkscrew pins, bobby pins of all lengths-they all slip out. Other than rubber bands for running they're the only thing I use. They also won't crease your hair. Love U ClipsThese are the first U clips I've ever owned; I wanted to try something that wasn't so damaging as bobby pins and the U clip seemed like the best idea. On sale and with free shipping, these were a great deal. As you might expect, they have a tendency to slip out (but keep in mind, I'm used to bobbies) but I love the rubberization and rounded tips. There's A Cheaper OptionThis is really nice for quick, easy buns but there's a much easier option. You can take a new sock (or perhaps a clean, used one), cut the toe part off, and then roll it up into a 'donut'. So, I'd try that first and if you love it maybe buy this. Getting A Perfect Bun Every Time ...... may be low on your list of 'needs' for your hair and styling, but as a public servant who HAS to wear her hair up and out of the way, this creates a smooth bun every time by just pulling my shoulder-length hair through and wrapping and tucking the hair under. I secure it with large bobby pins and I'm good to go. Out of all the expensive products I bought from a large Folica haul about a week ago, this is the only item I've reached for each and every day.
