TinaNorth CarolinaDo Not Buy This!!!!!!i bought this straightner a few months ago and ive been struggling with it. with your wigo,if you begin to see the red coating come off, this is a bad sign. this can really damage your hair and leave you with dry ripped out hair. also,on somedays,my wigo would heat up fine..on others it would bealiy manage.it seems like everyday i leave the house with my poofy, frizzy hair, still looking puffy and frizzy. i recomend the CHI.ChI is the greatest straightner out there(in my opinion)and does not wear you wont be returning the CHI within the next 3-4 years!posted Aug 13, 2006Link to this post

Claire D.ColoradoCeramic Finish Wore Off In 2 Months. The Wigo was recommened to me by a friend. As it is my first hair iron, I cant really compare it to another yet. I considered it an expensive purchase and thought it would last longer than a few months. While it still heats up fast and does the job of straightening my thick very curly hair, I am concerned that the bare metal where the finish flaked off is damaging my hair. I am now shopping for another brand and will not buy Wigo again.posted Aug 6, 2006Link to this post

JoseyEhhFrom what Ive read, I think that you take your chance buying this product, same with the "Hot Tools". Im thinking that most are defective, and the rest work. Im trying to find a VERY good hair straightener that will last long and be not too expensive (around $100-$200). I have pretty straight, fine, long hair, but sometimes like it pin straight. Any suggestions? Please contact me at its.your.fantasy@hotmail.com THANKS!posted Jul 14, 2006Link to this post

JulieChicago, ILNot Very GoodI bought my Wigo about 4 months ago and use it daily. Recently, I have noticed that there is something wrong with the cord. My flat iron keeps going out and I have to struggle with the cord in order for it to stay on. When I bought this product the clerk raved about what a wonderful flat iron is was. For the price, it definitely is not worth the money - my Hot Tools lasted longer than this!posted May 23, 2006Link to this post

EricaThis Stupid Dumb Thing?Well, Im a stundent in Cosmetology and needed a cheap, but super effective flat iron for use on clients only. One week after opening and using my Wigo, one side stopped working. Luckily, I had the receipt and proof of purchase and was sent another flat iron, no questions asked. That would have been great except for the fact that the SAME THING happened with my second Wigo flat iron. DO NOT WAISTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON IT!!posted May 23, 2006Link to this post

AnnonymousSan Jose,, CAHorrible ProductBought the thing in Nov 05. Its now the beginnning of March 06. Used it twice a week. Thats 36 times. Used this product *36* times in 3 & 1/2 months. Have discovered this morning that one side is not heating, explaining quite a bit. Called the place where I bought it: no, I dont have the receipt & no, I dont have the warranty card. God forbid theyd want to have a happy customer and work with me - theyre the one carrying a product that apparantly, according to this web site, has quite the problems, one side breaking just being one. No web site for Wigo, paying for your own return? And what the heck is this about "lead" on the cord & washing your hands. Unbelieveable. Buy at your own risk to your pocket book and to your physical health.posted Mar 2, 2006Link to this post
