Courtney HopeChagrin Falls, OHWaste Of MoneyAt first it was good, then it began to take longer to heat up and now the plates do not fit together right. It is almost as if they bent outward. I do not recommend this product.posted Aug 19, 2007Link to this post

CbCALousy Flat IronSo far, this is the only flat iron Ive purchased and at first I was happy with it...but that has changed. My hair has become so dried out and damaged and I attribute that to its use. It takes FOREVER to straighten my hair with it, as I have to go over sections repeatedly, and the affect doesnt last. My hair will frizz and pouf up again even after getting it as straight as I can. Plus, hairs get caught in it sometimes and it pulls em. Ive used a friends Chi flat iron in the past and it worked beautifully. As soon as I buy a new one, the Wigo is going in the trash.posted Jul 15, 2007Link to this post

PamelaCaliforniaBlah! At first this straightener was good, but after only a few months the color of the plates started to fade and everytime i turned it on my room and hallway would smell like something was burning!! AlliEhIve colored my hair many times and I swim, so my hair is extremely dried out and hard to straighten if I dont spent the time to blow dry it correctly...the wigo CAN get my hair straightened very nicely and it gets it smooth and sleek, but it takes FOREVER...i seriously need to spend an hour and a half at least to get it looking the way i like it, which could be because its only 1"....but its not expensive and if your hair is not hard to straighten or if you have the time to do it, Id go with this one.posted Jun 17, 2007Link to this post

MelissaCaliforniaEh!I bought my Wigo last year right before school started, so sometime in the summer. It worked great for a while. A couple of months ago I realized it was beginning to work poorly. The plates are beginning to rust, and there is a horrible smell while it heats up. Both plates still work, but this straightener is just not worth it at all. It leaves my hair smelling horribly! My friend has a Remington and when she straightens my hair with it, it leaves my hair shiny, and it doesnt smell. She has had it for about 2 years and it still works amazing! I would recommend it, but thats my opinion. My Wigo didnt even last me a year!posted Jun 11, 2007Link to this post

MaggieTexasSame Problem Twiceat first when i received my straightener, it worked REALLY well. then, after about 8 months, one of the plates just stopped heating up. so i sent i back in since it was still under warranty, and low and behold, a year later, the same problem occurred. my sister had gotten the same straightener at the same time i did at first...and we both ended up sending them in together because she had the same problem as well. now, her replacement one is shorting out, and the on/off switch doesnt turn off.dont bother wasting your money.posted Jun 3, 2007Link to this post

Lacey-laceNYGood At FirstI first heard about wigo from my sister in law. She was in town visiting,I used it and i loved it. So for my birthday she surprised me with one. I apsolutely loved it I would always get compliments on my hair. Everyone said i have "pantene pro-v hair". Then after about 5 months i noticed it wouldnt straighten as well, Then one day one of the plates just stopped working. It was the best straightenner i have used, I usually bought ones from the drug store. So if you want a slightly more expensive good straightener buy this one.....posted Mar 29, 2007Link to this post

AuroraManitoba, CanadaWhat Are You People Doing To Your Flat Iron?I have had my wigo for over 3 years and I have never had a problem with it..I have a friend who is a hairdresser and swears by her Chi iron. She tried mine and says there is not much of a difference. I have even forgot to shut it off some times and it works like a charm. I have no idea what you are doing to your irons but i have never been happier with mine.posted Jan 19, 2007Link to this post
