    I bought the true ceramic pro about 6 months ago. I used it 4 times and it completely stopped working . I was so incredibly angry that I paid payments and bought this expensive product that I got in the mail still stopped working so soon. It was rediculous that this expensive product didnt come with a warranty ( you had to pay extra to get the extra warranty!! ) I will definitely NEVER buy a product from ceramic pro!!!

    Dont Know About Everybody Else...
    Not sure how some of you are using it, but Ive had mines since 2005, and it has yet to stop working on me. Not once. It does smoke from time to time, but thats only when I put a spray or something on my hair and then apply it. Other than that, I dont have problems with it and in fact love how fast it gets hot. I dont have to wait around like other flat irons. Only thing I dont like is the shampoo and all that extra stuff they gave. That doesnt work for my type of hair. But the ceramic iron, the clips and the brush, are perfect. The price is a little steep, but 2 years later im still satisfied. I provided before and after pictures with it.

    Wasted $140! Don't Purchase This Iron!!!!!
    The TCP is a VERY expensive flat iron, and when i received it, it worked great and it came with lots of great extras! Well... I used it for about 2 months and suddenly it didnt work anymore! I tried to reset it, that didnt work. I also called TCP customer service to see about getting a replacement, but theres only a 30 day warranty! So now i am stuck with a piece of crap that im still paying for! Please dont waste your money! Get a CHI instead!

    Horribly Defective Item
    Heres the email that I just wrote to TrueCeramicPro customer service:My wife purchased the True Ceramic Pro a few months ago. It has already failed. This morning when she turned it on, the unit started smoking near the on switch, and now doesnt work at all. Shes only used the product a handful of times because shes been out on maternaty leave since November. I was surprised to see that the unit only carries a 30 day warranty. Way to stand behind your product!!!!! Obvously, that should have been a red flag for her before she purchased it. Products made with quality parts typically carry a one year warranty. Its obvious to her now why the product only carries a 30 day warranty - because its not a quality product. $150 for something that only lasted for a few uses, and she cant even obtain a replacement unit. Ridiculous! Just like Im taking the time to write this email, Ill take the time to write reviews of this product on every site that I can. I guess she should have read the reviews posted on various sites that say the units fail after only a few weeks. Not to mention the thing could have burned my house down with its defective electronic componets!!!! Ill be sure to add my 2 cents worth about this product on these websites so more people will know about the quality of this product and how the company does not support its product.Chris

    True Ceramic Pro
    I too had the switch go out .... after about 6 weeks. Alas no warranty. So I am out my money too. Thankyou for discontinuing the product.

    I asked to get the true ceramic pro for an xmas present, which my boyfriend ordered in the begining of December. It was back ordered and I did not recieve it till the end of jan.! It started out great and I took care of the strightner like it was my child, then it just stopped working. I had it only for 3 weeks! I sent it back, then waited again. I just got it last week and it worked once then stopped again. Horriable to wait just to be disappointed again. So My advice. Do not order this product. True Ceramic Pro is a unreliable and a POS!I just got the chi and havent opened it but after reading these review I believe I am going to purchase the Sedu that one seems the most reliable. I will let you all know as soon as I get it!

    Bad Product!!!
    I ordered the True Ceramic Pro Jan. 2007. I was pleased with the quality of the product until the power stopped working. After just nine weeks of having the product, the power switch stopped working. I called about a warranty and there is NOT one. So now I am stuck with a defective product and have lost over $100.

    Love Mine!!
    i love mine, use it daily(my hair is almost impossible to deal with). I have dropped it several times and have had it for at least 2 years without any problems. I prefer the ceramic pro over my $300 iron that I bought on the recommendation of my stylist.

    Bad Product
    I bought a TCP 3 months ago and I used it maybe 2 times a week and one day white smoke started coming out and it burned and stopped working! not worth the money.
