KyleeCanadaNot Bad!I bought this iron when my cricket iron suddenly broke. I had to go to a drugstore and buy something that was cheap to get me through until I had enough money to buy a "professional one". Well that was over 2 years ago, I bought a Solia 11 months ago and it SUCKED so bad compaired to this cheap thing. Snagged my hair, made it dull and didn't straighten as good. I am pleasantly surprised with this one. It does a pretty darn good job - I am planning on buying a chi or ghd in a month for my birthday as this one is getting old and yucky. The plates are so brown you can't read the writting anymore - but I won't throw it away as it's not a bad backup!posted Aug 22, 2010Link to this post

RebaccaPatheticTHESE ARE RUBBISH THEY BURNT MY HAIR EVEN WHEN I USED A TON OF HAIRSPRAY A TOTAL LET DOWN DIDN'T THINK THESE STRAIGHTENERS WOULD TURN OUT TO BE LIKE THIS EVEN THOUGH TIGI HAS BRILLIANT HAIR PRODUCTS.A TOTAL LET DOWNposted Mar 20, 2010Link to this post

ColleenHairMedium HairLoveThis was my second straightener. It has lasted me about two years. The only reason i have to get a new one now is because I was stupid for a while and wrapped the cord around it and now its frayed. I have medium length, very thick, wavy-ish/curly-ish hair and it worked great. Takes me about 25-30 min to do all my hair and touchups. Stayed hot the whole time and my hair stays straight until I wash it. I definitely recommend it, you just have to get used to the way it feels and learn how it works best, like all straighteners. With it, I use Fashionista spray from catwalk, also by TIGI.posted Feb 19, 2010Link to this post

GinaNJA Bad ChoiceI got this straightener last year because i was obsessed with bed head. i love their blow dryer and their curling irons are decent, but this is a horrible straightener. i have just slightly curly, 2b hair, and even this couldnt get the job done. it snags and you have to go over each section multiple times. it takes me upwards from an hour to straighten my hair. i'm going to get a solia very soon :)posted Feb 14, 2010Link to this post

VickaTerrbible Buydo not buy this product. my stepsister had this and it never got the job done in time. okay it got your hair straight but you would have to constantly keep going over a section of hair to finally get it flat. & i don't even have thick hair but i would have to keep it on the highest heat setting just to get it to get my hair flat and straight. i would not recommend this product.posted Feb 6, 2010Link to this post

Hockeychick16Okay ProductI got this straightener less than a year ago, and just now it broke on me! It wasn't even that good while it worked. It took a while to straighten (I had to go over the same piece of hair a few times)... Though it didn't take long to heat up! It's an okay iron, there's better ones out there.posted Jan 23, 2010Link to this post

KayceeBoca Raton, FLNot Even That Good While It Lasted...So I got this flat iron (the blue one) last christmas (2008) because I thought it was great and the flat iron I had at the time was a conair & it was horrible. So when I got this one, it seemed to be great for a few days. It never seemed to get real hot and after awhile & my hair finally looked good, it would get wavy in like 15 minutes. So a few days ago, a little bit over a year after I bought it , the lights started flickering on the iron, then they just completely went out. Now it takes twice as long to heat up. Also, when I straighten my hair I completely do it then come back and touch it up, well now when I go to touch it up, the iron is COLD, I can touch it & not burn myself!! Sooo, I guess I need a new flat iron... DONT BUY THIS ONE!posted Jan 2, 2010Link to this post

KelseyOkay...I've never had a flat iron before this one and at first i thought it was good, because i didnt know any better. but then it started getting so tiring to spend that extra 40 minutes on my Thin wavy hair. so i'm getting a new one. GOOD LUCK. i would recommend another straightener :)posted Nov 20, 2009Link to this post

KellyDon't Buy!!!I bought this, but not from folica.com. I bought it to replace the Babyliss Pro that I've had for about 4 years. I DO NOT like this flat iron at all. I like Bed Head products & that's why I bought the flat iron...big mistake! It DOES NOT get as hot as it claims, it snags my hair, & I have to keep going over & over it to get it sort of straight. The lights that it has on both sides top & bottom quit working on one side after having it only 4 days. I haven't dropped it, or anything to cause that. I've owned it for 1 week & I'm returning it to store I bought it from!!!!! I ordered a Chi from folica.com & can't wait to get it!posted Nov 14, 2009Link to this post
