T3 Tourmaline Wet-to-Dry Flat Iron (1 3/4")

KarenChicagoDry And SmoothI love this iron. No frying, no frizzing, no snagging no problems. I do not use it on sopping wet hair - I do towel dry first. My hair is fairly straight and shoulder length and the results are always good. Dry carefully, dry in small sections. I have had the iron for 3 years. Or should I say I had it for 2 and then my daughter took it to college with her (teenagers are not known for treating their electronics gently) and the iron is still going strong even after being dropped a time or two (NOT RECOMMENDED!!)posted Apr 5, 2008Link to this post

JamieMarylandHairLong HairVery ImpressedI bought the flat iron to go along with the t3 featherweight dryer I got as a gift. The flat iron was a great investment. I am a hair dresser and was shocked at all of the bad reviews. My advice is that you either bought the iron from an unathorized store/website or you dont know how to use a flat iron. The flat iron is designed for medium to thick hair and works best on long hair. I would recommend quickly drying your hair to get all of the loose water out, then use the iron. I also recommend using a thermal protecting spray for extra protection. Last but not least, register your iron online. If your flat iron did not come with a serial number, then I would strongly recommend returning.posted Mar 22, 2008Link to this post

MeganIllinoisLongtime OwnerI bought this hair straightener about 8 months ago. I have very thick, frizzy, and wavy hair, it is insane to try to straighten it. I got my hair done at the salon and the hairdresser used a T3 and it looked amazing!!! So the next day I bought myself one. For about the first month it worked ok, but after that, it hasnt been able to handle my hair anymore. I still does a great job on my bangs, and my sister uses it often (her hair is no where near the insanity of mine) and she loves it. This hair straightener is good for thinner more manageable hair, but not so much for the thicker more out of control hair. I hope this helps!!posted Feb 26, 2008Link to this post

CeilidhCanadaHairChemically Treated HairUse It Properly And It Works WondersOk I have very thick (unbelievably thick) curly curly hair if left to dry on its own it would be very frizzy. I was planning to buy this product then after reading a lot of bad reviews changed my mind. Then my Stylist used it on me and wow! I immediately bought it and have been using it now for 2 years. This is by far the best iron i have ever used. I admit if i tried to use it on soaking wet hair it would look like crap, but i find it hard to believe any iron out there will dry and perfectly straighten your hair in one run over. Do a quick overall blow dry then flat iron medium sections. My hair looks amazing and stays straight for days, people dont believe i have curly hair until i show them pictures. Well worth the moneyposted Feb 25, 2008Link to this post

EmilyConnecticutHairCurly HairBest Flat Iron Out There!Seriously, if you are reading this now, please disregard the negative comments that were previously left buy other customers. This iron is the best. The best of the best. I have super curly hair with extra thickness, and the T3 totally transforms my hair. I use it so often, yet i get little to no breakage. I used it a couple times when my hair was slightly damp and it also worked wonders. To everyone who had less than acceptable performance by this flat iron, trust me you are doing something wrong. I looked at the reviews for the Sedu and my hair 5 times straighter with using this T3 flat iron and my hair is 5 times curlier in the beginning. My hair is so volumous and great, i just dont know how people were dissapointed with this iron. I also tried the Solia flat iron and that was a joke. When i got it i tried it out and started to laugh. But this t3 works amazingly. I cant wait to get the curling iron for when i want big and bouncy curls! If you buy this flat iron, you will make a once in a lifetime investment in beautiful hair!! Please Choose T3! Its the best!posted Dec 25, 2007Link to this post

AmandaCOHorrible ProductMy Sedu recently broke. I was very satisfied with it, but I needed a new iron ASAP (was going on vacation) and decided to pick up this from the local Sephora, despite iffy reviews. Big Mistake. The straightening iron failed to perform up to expectations and its $200 price tag. The poor design causes hair to be snagged which results in damaged hair and split ends. Though it promises to âdry and straighten in one fast, healthy step,â it instead leaves hair so frizzy and damaged looking that I have been using my old $30 Conair straightening iron to fix the harm that the T3 iron has done after using it to dry my hair. Iâve since found that itâs much more convenient to blow dry my hair and then use a cheap iron (which is what i have been doing all along), as it gives me much better results on my moderately wavy hair. Worst of all, the first time I used the product on slightly-damp hair, it began to rust and I can now no longer return it.posted Dec 3, 2007Link to this post

MMiami, FloridaHairDry HairBad Choice..I got mine at a very prestigious store so i thought it was going to be a wonder and here i am 2 months later returning the T3 because the heater doesnt work anymore, and when ONCE i used it to straighten my hair when it was wet (just to see how good it was) it left it frezzy, it took me like 2 hours to completely dry it and left it without shine. It was not what i expected for the money i payed. I will not say that is the worst i ever tryed cause it isnt but I dont recomend it.posted Nov 6, 2007Link to this post

JeanWest Chester, PAHairFine or Thin HairA Salon At Your Finger-tipsI was skeptical of using any heat on my thick, fine-textured and color-treated hair. Yet, I wanted to create the smooth and dramatic waves currently in style. The Narrow Wet/Dry iron is a wonderful product! After using it once on wet hair and again on dry hair, I have added body, smoothness, enhanced color, and a style that holds without having to use sprays or similar styling products. What I like best is that this iron enables its user to both smooth and wave the hair selectively. Sometimes such effects can be achieved by working with different areas of a single section of hair. The tool enhances the natural "flow" of the hair, and holds in place what might otherwise have been just a fleeting wave. My only criticism is that the manufacturer supplies very minimal information as to how to use this excellent product. I have had to seach the web for videos and tips.posted Oct 14, 2007Link to this post
