LaurenCAThe Plate Melted Off The Iron!!!I would have originally rated it higher, but after about 3 years of very light use (maybe one time per month) the ceramic plate fell off the base as if it had melted right off!!! This was very disappointing. I was told that this was a commercial strength iron. It should have held up much longer than this in my opinion.posted May 8, 2010Link to this post

SheiklaChicago, ILBest One I Have Ever OwnedI have had several different flat irons over the years adn never fell in love until I got this T3 flat iron. It is amazing! I travel a lot and its always in my bag. I love the way my hair feels after I finish. My niece used it Christmas and was amazed at how smooth her hair was and at how little time it took to finish her style. You always get what you pay for. It's worth every penny.posted Feb 4, 2010Link to this post

BananLas Cruces, NMHairCurly HairWowI used to have long wavey hair. After going through chemo, I grew very curly hair, its so curly that my beautician couldnt do anything with it. I have very thick hair, especially now. I have tried other flat irons whith very no success. I end up looking poofy. My hair is also still very short in he back. Well ladies, my nightmare is over. I just received my T3 yesterday. I couldnt wait to try it. Wow, I am so impressed! My hair looks so shinny and healthy. I look like I just stepped out of a salon. I had to use the highest setting to flatten my ridiculousy curly locks, I also took my time as the other reviewers mentioned. It took about an hour which is impressive to me. I am glad I purchased my T3, just not glad for what I paid for it. I ordered it from someone else for $160.00 oh well, I know better now. Try it, you will love it.posted Jun 12, 2009Link to this post

Deb@siliconvalleySan Jose, CAOne Bad A*s IronI can not believe my luck!! I was lusting after this iron for weeks, only thing that stopped me was the price. I bought a Chi and literally one day later the T3 Duality goes on sale. I would take myself off the Golden Gate Bridge right now, but my hair isnt done. First, I waited months for the Sedu Revolution, only to have them cop out again on their ship date. I have not received my Chi yet, so maybe I will be happy. My hair dresser did my hair with the T3 and it turned out awesome. I really love the tourmaline, puts a good shine and softness to the hair and heat controls are a must with my fragile hair. I use the lowest possible heat and this ones got it! Maybe I will break down and buy it, now that it is on sale, what a deal!posted Sep 7, 2008Link to this post

MonicaCAHairCurly HairDoes A Great Job!!I have VERY curly hair and also a victoria beckham style hair cut...I know, not the best combo. Anways, with that being said it is important for me to get my hair as straight as possible. Ive been through many different flat irons, hot tools, chi, etc. and I must say this one makes a WORLD of difference...It doesnt even compare to previous irons that I have used. For those of you who say that this product didnt work for you, Im not trying to say that you are wrong, but perhaps you need to try doing smaller sections of hair at a time as well as running the iron through your hair slower. Like I said I have VERY curly, and once dry FRIZZY hair, and after Im done using this product it looks like a completely different head of hair. My hair usually looks the best after the second time I completely go through it with the flat iron. Also, T3 makes a flat iron gel that I would HIGHLY recommend...I cant remember what its called but its GREAT!!!posted May 21, 2008Link to this post

AnonymousNot Impressed With The Design, But It Works Great! Was torn between this iron at $170 (includes tax. EEK) from Sephora and the Helix Silver Nano (http://www.folica.com/Hot_Tools_Helix_d3054.html) from Ulta at only $100 (includes tax).I love everything about the design of the Helix but thats about it. When I compared the two irons side by side (I literally ironed half of my head with each iron) the difference was very noticeable. The T3 left my hair significantly shinier and smoother. The thermostat on the Helix goes higher, but I swear the T3 got hotter. Definitely use a heat protectant on your hair because my hair was super hot after using the T3 but it looked amazing. Fortunately I found this iron on Ebay at a fraction of the price, so Ill be returning both and buying it there. Overall though, the T3 beat the Helix into the ground. One point to note for all the people that complained about frizz or time it took them.. I am speaking personally, but if I want good results, I have to take my time and run the iron through twice. The first time gets the initial frizz out. Then once the hair cools, run it through again. This drastically improves the results. Give it a try!

KailaLove It!I agree with one of the earlier reviews... the people leaving bad reviews probably dont use this product correctly!Ive had this flat iron for 2 years now and its still in perfect condition! Before I owned this, it was impossible for my wavy hair to be perfectly straight. The Chi didnt work for me and friends that have the Chi wanted my T3 after trying it out. My hair is still healthy and shiny even after straightening my hair regularly with this for 2 years. I dont even use product most of the time because I hate having gunk in my hair. It did snag my hair but that happened when I would rush while straightening and it would only be like a strand of hair.posted Feb 28, 2008Link to this post

AnonymousNot Worth ItThis straightener has totally ruined my hair. Maybe I should have used a heat protectant, but none the less my hair feels dry and fragile. It takes forever to straighten my hair when using this. I paid $160 and its a total waste of money. At first I was in love but there really better straighteners out there. This takes me soooo long to straighten, even if I have it on high heat. If youre looking for a good flat iron I would try GHD or SEDU, ive heard great things about these. I would never waste my money on another T3 product ever again.posted Jan 6, 2008Link to this post
