Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron (1-3/4") plus free heat proof pouch

SusanFloridaLove It!!!Honestly, I didnt rate the iron best because I have never used another tourmaline ceramic ion flat iron, so I had nothing to compare it to. This is now my second Solia flat iron...the first one was only the 1 1/4". Actually, one of the paddles kept falling off after about 2 - 2 1/2 years. I think I really just have too much hair for that one...so, on to the bigger size, which is even better. It straightens my hair faster and better. Ladies, if you have long and full hair, definitely get the bigger iron...makes a world of difference. With the price reduction and the free shipping going on when I bought this, I was able to get the 1 3/4" for probably the same price as the 1 1/4".posted Jun 20, 2009Link to this post

JessieGood Flat IronThis flat iron has ceramic paddles that are bigger than most irons, so if you have a lot of hair, it works really well. It is also more gentle on hair than other flat irons I have used.posted Jun 19, 2009Link to this post

BetsyFlat Iron Gets High MarksI chose this iron from its companys reputation and that it was a wider one. This gets the job done in little time. I am a person that wants to look good but not spend a lot of time to do so. The wider iron was the answer. Quick, straight, smooth and I am on my way in no time.posted Jun 19, 2009Link to this post

MauraNHNot ImpressedMy boyfriend bought me this flat iron for my birthday and believe me I was happy he kept the receipt. After reading all there reviews I thought this would be a great flat iron but it pulled my hair quite a bit and the longer sections of my hair would get stuck in the plates of the iron. I also felt like my hair was really dull looking and felt really damaged.I returned the Solia and bought the GHD which I strongly suggest, its the best flat iron out there. About $150 more than the Solia but worth every penny!!posted Jun 19, 2009Link to this post

Michelle O.Scottsdale, AZ.Very Good Flat IronI really like the size/dimensions of the product. I also like the fact that it has a regular plug, not that big huge heavy kind.It can tend to get too hot if your not careful. It does have a dial setting where you control the amount of heat. All in all, I think its a really good product and I DO reccommend it! :)posted Jun 19, 2009Link to this post

IreneIrvine, CABest Flat IronMy daughter has used this flat iron for years, so I purchased one a couple years ago. My sister loved the way it worked on her hair, so I purchased one for her as a birthday gift. She agrees it is the best flat iron she has used.posted Jun 19, 2009Link to this post

GracieFrom NY Live In FLLove The SoliaI have finally found a flat iron that leaves my hair salon sleek and silky! I have naturally wavy virgin hair and live in Fl so it can get very frizzy. This flat iron actually keeps my hair silky and shiny until i wash it again. I went through 3 irons before this one including the maxiglide and a couple from Sallys. They either snagged my hair or left it straight for a while but it wouldnt last. The tourmaline in the solia actually brings out your natural shine and makes your hair feel healthy. The plate goes to both ends so it doesnt snag your hair. Im really happy with it!!

Kimberly PaisleyElk Grove, CAHairChemically Treated HairLove It!I love this flat iron...not sure what Tourmaline does thats different from any other flat iron but this one gets super hot - if you need it to - the temp controlls are easily adjusted and the 1 3/4" pannels are great for my hair. I have think, course, frizzy, dry hair that has a mind of its own and this flat iron makes it STRAIGHT, very SHINY and incredibly SOFT!! If I use the proper products prior to straightning, my hair will stay straight till I wash it! I recommend this to anyone who wants to wear straight hair every now and then.posted Jun 19, 2009Link to this post
